Rick Stromoski is an award winning cartoonist/ humorous illustrator and now graphic novel author with his Schnozzer & Tatertoes series “Take a Hike” and “Shoot the Moon”.

Rick has had three syndicated newspaper comic strips from 1987-2018, illustrated a number of children’s books for various publishers , designed hundreds of greeting cards several national card companies and has also worked in advertising, licensing and network television. He takes great joy teaching cartooning to children online through libraries all over the U.S. and does personal appearances at schools, libraries and community centers throughout New England.

Rick was President of the National Cartoonists Society from 2005-2007 and served as its charitable foundation president from 2008-2014. He lives in Northern CT with his wife Danna and their rescued miniature schnauzer, Trixie.

Rick has illustrated books for MacMillan, Workman, Irena Chalmers, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Candlewick Press, McGraw-Hill, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Grolier, Golden Books, Scholastic, Random House and Contemporary Books.
