Badass Makes It Right!

I recently ordered this trial kit to try out all (or most) of the different scents these guys make. I'd already tried a few so I knew they were great but I thought, what a perfect way to try several.
Well I received my order and realized I'd gotten two sets of doubles and was short two of the scents that were supposed to come. Not a major deal since the two double that came are pretty good but I was a little bummed I wouldn't get to try the other two.
Because I work in an industry that values tracking mistakes as a way of improving, I decided to write them a note to let them know what had happened. As I said, I love their products so I wasn't asking for a refund or return, just letting them know.
So two days later I check my mail and what do I find? A priority delivered parcel with my two missing oil/balms...AND a cool metal beard comb to say "sorry". That's customer service, and they have earned my loyalty with their awesome customer service. Badass for life!!

Badass Beard Care.... a company that makes a beautiful product. A product for manly men... men with beards... not a product for men who play with dolls, but rather men who fight grizzly bears with their bare hands... men who wake up, and cant help but piss excellence.... men who dont sit around and complain about the world around them, but stand up, go out into said world and CHANGE IT! My first experience with this company was only a short while ago, when I decided to grow a beard. I bought the cheapest and most loaded down beard care kit Amazon had available. And that's what I got... a bare bones, cheap product. So i set forth on a mission to find a product that was manly, would stand up to whatever my forthcoming beard would throw at it, protect the skin underneath, and yet was cost effective... Through my hours of scouring the interwebs, I found a link for Badass Beard Care. I took a short look around, and ordered a Badass Beard Care "The Ladies Man" beard oil. It looked amazing! And reviews were great. I received it, and tried it out immediately. It was as if Aphrodite herself had chosen the aromas that would kiss my beard, and Florence Nightingale had approved the ingredients to protect it. I loved the stuff, and most importantly, my wife did..... until one night I left the lid loose, and she knocked it over spilling its devine contents.... so I sat out to order more. As I parused the pages of Amazon in search of more wonderful Badass Beard Care oil, I thought I'd see what kind of beard balm they carried. The wonderful manly scent of my Badass Beard Care beard oil, was always masked by the generic and overbearing smell of the beard balm that I had chosen. Seeing that they offered a trial pack of assorted scents and styles, I figured this would be the best bet. But at $30, itd better contain some of the most awesome contents they offered! On the day the USPS dropped it off at my mailbox, I couldn't wait to unwrap its patriotic and appealing packaging, to set forth on my pilgrimage of beard care discovery! As I opened the nice petite bag that contained the minuscule samples, I was disheartened at the shrimpy viles of oil, and tiny containers of balm. I would surely love ALL of these, and want them to last! But alas, as I began working my way through the different samples, only three of them smelled even half way acceptable. The Ladies Man scent was a keeper, as I already knew, and two others, but the rest were *meh* at best, and a couple were right down putrid! Long story shorter, I'm glad I got to sample the different scents, but hate i spent $30 on this. Wish I'd just bought a full sized bottle of the Ladies Man oil, and stepped out on a limb to try the same scent in the balm. I cant say enough about the quality of product that this company provides, but this product is just a waste of my time and money. I will no doubt spend my hard earned money on more of their specific scents, but this sample pack was a bust... the "Viking", the "Ladies Man", and the "Pirot" (in that order) are the best and most excellent products available. This company will not sell you products that leave you feeling oily and disgusting, but will do a Badass job at protecting your beard, and the skin underneath. Great company, just bad sample pack and price tag...

Good for trying out some oils and balms without committing to a large bottle and/or tub only to find out you don't like the product. Baddass makes wonderful products. The Patriot is my favorite from this set and I have purchased a 2oz tin of the balm. The original and the biker are the others in my top 3. The Mountain Man is not bad. I threw away the Viking oil after the 1st use. I used the balm as it had very little scent. Didn't care much for the Ladies Man or the Pirate. My set came with the Secret Agent (unscented( instead of the Outlaw, so I can't speak to it.

Scents are subjective. What I like may not be what you like and this set gives you a chance to see what YOU like. The oils are nice and the balms melt easily in your hands and blend well in your beard. There are no clumps or hard bits like I have seen in some balms.

Depending on how much you need to use, you get 2-4 days from each sample.

The bad: I am no closer to figuring out which one/ones I want to keep on hand as primary uses.
I'm new to using products in my beard. I was turned on to it from a co-worker, that I noticed a very strong sweet smell coming from him. He was using a product from another company. I didn't care much for the aroma though. But I liked what it was doing for his beard. I realized, I need help with mine. However, not crazy about the odor being so strong, I was a bit skeptical of trying/buying some. This kit having so much to try at a reasonable price, helped me take the step. Especially having a neutral one. These products don't have an overwhelming aroma. There was one that even has a hint of clove, which I was sure I would not like. To my surprise, even it is totally acceptable for me. Great product, it has really helped my beard. My wife likes the aromas, and really likes the appearance. Oh, and the cherry on top, you get a guitar pick. The pick is much like the ones I buy. Thanks Badass. You totally live up to your name.

I had already picked up a full-size product, and loved it, before I realized they have this sampler kit which comes with samplers of 8 different sets of scents of oil and balm. It was perfect for determining which scents I like best so I know what to order moving forward. It is also a great way to let friends try. Really nice packaging, and an all-around fantastic product, I don't know how I ever survived without! I highly recommend this product to determine which scent is right for you! My only complaint is it's a little difficult to get just a few drops of oil out of the little tiny bottle, but when you get the full-size product it comes with an eye dropper which works fantastic (and after all this is just a sampler kit!). Thanks Badass Beard Care, my beard has gone from scraggly and unruly to badass!
