Unit was missing one part, service sent replacement express.
It has just the right controls / tweaks and makes me feel like high level athlete.
Easy on the battery, 40 mile trip in assist 5 level in 2 hour + at about 16 mile per hour, 15 amp/hour battery was still at 50% per indicator.
Installed on recumbent trike without issue in less than a day, I had to go to bike shop to tighten BB and was charged $5.00. Had to extend speedometer cable because of recombent configuration.
Bought a good battery pack from the same seller although not on Amazon.
Received prompt reply from seller on all questions.
Spent a lot of time shopping around and this one was the best value for the money.

For some backround information I live in Europe where there is a lot of hills and I bicycle to and from work on a daily basis about 12 miles. I tried to buy the kit through an American dealer but wouldn't send the batteries through the mail so ended up buying it direct from china. I purchased this kit with a water bottle 36V 13AH battery. I put the kit onto a what the Europeans call a Trekking Bike which is a hybrid bicycle with fenders, power generation hub, rear and front lights, and a rear rack for stowing stuff. Good bike for going all over Europe and picking up groceries/bringing work clothes to/from home etc. When it arrived, I went to my LBS shop to take off the original front gear and put this gear on for about 30 dollars. If you do have it put on by your LBS, ensure that they use the right sized bolts for the retaining plate as if you have a 73mm BB, you will need longer bolts and will strip out the motor mount if they use the kit bolts. Also ensure that you use Locktite all throughout the kit as if you don't, you may find that the bolts will come out and have a kit for only a short period. I rode the Kit for about 600 miles before I took apart the final drive that goes through the BB. Going through endless-sphere, I found assistance on which lubricants to use on the different parts as follows
I used the following grease products:
For the Nylon Helical gearing, I used Sil-glyde.
For the Shaft roller bearings I used Slick Honey:
For the Final Gearset (large Sprocket at the Crank) I used standard Moly Grease:
I would say that you may want to consider a "regrease" after 1000 miles or perhaps sooner if you notice any strange sounds. I would also say that the factory applied the grease somewhat sparingly.
For resealing the controller wire penetrations for water intrusion, I would recommend 3M - "5200" sealant. I use it on boats and it is incredible stuff.
I have now had the kit for about 1200 miles and is running wonderfully. I am able to ride (6'4" 220 LBS athletic frame) at level 7 at about 21 mph with the pedal assistance and at over 25mph at level 9. I am also able to climb like a Billy goat going up over 20% grades in granny gear at over 10 MPH! I would invest in a chain wear guage so you don't wear out your cassette(I didn't and ended up spending 60 dollars on a new cassette) This will put more stress on your chain and will just want to watch it.
Overall, I find it is a good kit for almost everyone. there can be a bit of maintenance involved, but to find a better mid-drive, you will have to go to a Bosch, Panasonic drives or a Focus bicycle to get less maintenance but will pay 1000 dollars more for less power. Hopefully this review helps.
