The Bahco premium ergonomic carbide scraper is intended for heavy-duty applications and is ideal for wide material removal when extra strength is required. The long-lasting carbide blade allows you to scrape wood, metal and concrete, quickly and efficiently removing paint, glue, varnish, rust, and more. The 2-component handle gives you better grip and added comfort; the slim-lined front end gives you increased scraping access when working in confined spaces. This scraper also features a large plastic knob for more comfortable two-handed operation, making it a great tool for heavy duty use when scraping large areas. This scraper comes with a 2-1/2-inch replaceable blade and also readily accepts 2-inch blades. The tool measures 12-1/10-by-4-2/5-by-3-1/2 inches (LxHxW) wide. This scraper comes with a holster for convenient pocket or belt storage and is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

This scraper was so easy to learn to use. The first 10 scrapes made a loud screeching sound that put my teeth on edge, but that was my own learning curve. I learned to pull it back to me and not to push it away. I learned the amount of pressure to apply and it worked so easy from them on.

It greatly reduced risk of taking off too much and damaging the veneer. It took off just the right amount.

It reduced time by about an 1 hour for it removed all the need for the first/lowest grit sanding 60/120 step.

It reduced the dust of the project for it gives slithers of removed finish rather than dust particles.

I highly recommend it for removing old crackly finish from veneer of flat surfaces.
