I'm thinking the heroine's insecurities mirror those of lots of young ladies. Also firmly believe that her mother could write a book on how not to raise your daughters.
Marcus is the perfect hero to save Grace from her upbringing.
Typical humor you would expect from Kirsten Osbourne. Like most of her books you don't have to try too hard to find the deeper lesson her characters teach readers. Buy this book, fix your favorite drink and curl up prepared to love it.
Marcus talks to his housekeeper, Ethel, who was a minister's wife and explains the things Grace is dealing with and asks her to talk to Grace and explain sex in marriage is okay and she is allowed to enjoy it.
Ethel talks to Grace, Grace reads Song of Solomon then calls her mother and asks what verses say a woman is not to enjoy sex. Mother has none, says the preacher preached it so it must be true.
Grace has no more problems and surprises the daylights out of Marcus when he gets home.
This is a really good story. I was in tears by the last chapter. Now to read about Grace' s twin and see if she is as messed up as Grace was. Loving this series!
