This is an excellent product. Is very useful and easy to use. Can be brought along everywhere. The only thing i wish it had was a hook rather than a locking strap. The vendor was excellent. Received item in a very short time.

We had 8 large bags to check. After reading the other reviews, we packed 7 of the bags to 48 pounds according to this scale. 1 was less.

When we got to the airport, every bag was 52 to 53 pounds. This requied some repacking at the airport to move stuff around.

I like the ergonomic handle on this scale, as it is easy to hold while lifting the luggage off the floor. I found that on one weight it weighed the luggage about 2 pounds lighter than the airport scale did. So I think you need to give yourself about a 2 pound leeway, just to be safe. My husband used it for his luggage and it was about 1 pound lighter. However, it does help you know about what you have before you get to the airport.

Very handy when traveling anywhere. Compared this product and it is
the best for accuracy and ease of use. With overweight penalties with
all airlines this is a very good investment.

My whole family and I love these: so conveniently made! We used these for making sure our luggage were under the maximum weight limit, and sure enough, these are accurate measurers. My dad had me order a couple more for our relatives so now each family has at least one. This is simply a good tool to have at hand. I highly recommend!

    UPDATE:
After rearanging the content of the suitcases and reweight several I was able to get them to agree with the bathroom scale,
even at high weight of 70 lb. Perhaps, the Balanzza acuracy improve with use, I am not sure.
    ---------------------------PREVIOUS UPDATE---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Warning! I had two pieces of luggages. According to the Balanzza, the small one is 40lbs and the heavier one is 70lbs.
But my bathroom scale said the small one is 40lbs and the heavier one is 80lbs. I will wait until I get to the airport
to see how it goes, but I would trust my bathroom scale. Anyways it seems, the Balanzza has some systematic error for
large weight and tend to under estimate the weight.

    ------------------PREVIOUS REVIEW--------------------------------------------------------------
This little scale is great and idea for traveling. It is very small and confortable in your hand.
It's a little longer than six inches and for the most part about half an inch to one inch thick.
Looks very small but it can handle about 100 lb - about the type of weight that they allow at the
airport. The only thing is there a "reset" button but the instruction said nothing about that
button and I have no idea when to use it and what it is for. Anyone ?

We like to travel so I have a few different scales I keep, but this one is a little special. Not only is it a bit more heavy duty, but it takes AAA batteries. Which if have looked, not many do and it can sometimes save you a trip to the store to find some annoying Cell battery, if they have it. We still take the small cell battery ones on the trip with us, but this one stays at home.

Works well. Strap securely locks around handle. Lift the suitcase until the alarm bell sounds. The lower suitcase and read the weight. No more trying to read sensor while holding the suitcase up. Scale measurements are within 0.1 pounds of the airport weight machine. I find this works so much better than my old dial weight device.
