Intrigue of Antares (Dray Prescot Book 44)
Very fast 5 read. Which 'intrique' is the title one, the assignment of the Sword hero to guard a party in it's travels?, the mystery of the 'succession'?, or the mystery of why the 'star lords' are masking their part? or about four more. In essence, this is the intro story for a short series with a large number of important future plot elements flowering during the mad rush to complete a bequest. In any event this was/is a short novel written for the German market of it's first publication, only in Germany, which has been kindly published in English in kindle and in omnibus by Mushroom and Bladud books "The Balintol Cycle I [The thirteenth Dray Prescot omnibus] (The Saga of Dray Prescot Omnibus)" formats. As you should know this is a 'lost' work of Kenneth Bulmer under an alias and should be enjoyed with other works, Such as: "The Vallian Cycle (The Saga of Dray Prescot omnibus Book 5)", "Hook: Whirlpool of stars (Star-spanning man of the future)", "The Million Year Hunt", "Behold the Stars", "The Changeling Worlds" and many, many more. Every thing from sea adventures, space combat, Sword and Sorcery to political thought. Highly recommended, Thanks, Harry!
Gangs of Antares (Dray Prescot Book 45)
Very quick read. Dray Prescot adventures through the capitol city of Tolindrin and goes from certain death to rescuer from Monsters. A superb series of scenarios crafted to familiarize the reader with the true pillars of the society under threat from the Shanks. In this book we see what Dray Prescot must work with to defeat the Shanks in battle, but are mystified by how he will do it, (as he is also). A great read with a tinge of wild magics to shiver your timbers. Highly recommended. Thanks, Harry!
Demons of Antares (Dray Prescot Book 46)
Super fast, arousing 5 read with the steady pulse of strange adventures. This work was a reconstruction of a novel written in English and translated (liberally) into German for the German pulp market to continue the great Dray Prescott series. It reeks of the tender loving, care put into restoring it for the English speaking world. Great thanks to the tireless, selfless efforts of loyal fans and a determined publisher. I was enthralled by the storyline and will continue the cycle soonest. Very highly recommended! Thanks, Harry!
Simply HOMERIC, that is the Story of Dray Prescot on Kregen and thus worth the time to contemplate and enjoy the story as perceived by the Great author Kenneth Bulmer writing as Alan Burt Akers. I hope each reader enjoys the complex creation of world making. Highly recommended. Thanks, Harry!
