Ball Canning Jars & Lids
It's easy to show your creation in its best possible light.
When it comes to canning, there's nothing more important than a quality seal. It ensures that no oxygen gets into the canning jar after processing and that your food will remain preserved just the way you created it.
Ball Brands of Fresh Preserving Canning Lids have been crafted for quality in the U.S. for more than 125 years. Ball Jar's manufacturing facility in Muncie, Indiana, produces each lid with a custom, time-tested sealing compound with an underside coating so that the natural acids in your food will not react with the lid.
You can trust that each jar is every bit as genuine as the creation inside it.

The labels are really nice to have, but seems like it would be excessive to do a full return.
Update: Amazon was great to replace my order with no extra charge and without having to return. However, the new set (with frustration free packaging) did not include the labels either. So, I guess that's why frustration free is cheaper? The product description says "bonus labels" so I guess you do not get this bonus with frustration free packaging. Either way, the 60 pack of labels was cheaper locally than it is on Amazon. I am still tempted to order the standard packaging just to see if the bonus labels are there.
They look like the special gifts they are due to the effect of the allover crystal pattern. Raspberries are abundant in my neck of the woods so I normally put my gourmet raspberry creations into these half-pint jars. Another favorite item that calls for at least an 8 oz. jar is a spiced zucchini baking mix, so I have plenty of pretty filled crystal jars on my pantry shelves, inviting me to make lots of bread, cookies and spiced pies during the Winter and Spring.
A set of Ball jars makes a thoughtful gift for your favorite canner, or for yourself.
I bought these with the intention to just use them for canning but I have started to use them for perfect portions of pudding (just make the pudding, place in jars to cool in fridge and ta dah! Perfect dessert or snack size puddings) as well as storage for other sauces, etc I have left over. They are that perfect little size, easy to clean, clear so you can see what is in them and the quilted pattern is pretty plus I much prefer to use glass over plastic if given the opportunity.
