Ball Canning Jars & Lids
It's easy to show your creation in its best possible light.
When it comes to canning, there's nothing more important than a quality seal. It ensures that no oxygen gets into the canning jar after processing and that your food will remain preserved just the way you created it.
Ball Brands of Fresh Preserving Canning Lids have been crafted for quality in the U.S. for more than 125 years. Ball Jar's manufacturing facility in Muncie, Indiana, produces each lid with a custom, time-tested sealing compound with an underside coating so that the natural acids in your food will not react with the lid.
You can trust that each jar is every bit as genuine as the creation inside it.

The labels are really nice to have, but seems like it would be excessive to do a full return.
Update: Amazon was great to replace my order with no extra charge and without having to return. However, the new set (with frustration free packaging) did not include the labels either. So, I guess that's why frustration free is cheaper? The product description says "bonus labels" so I guess you do not get this bonus with frustration free packaging. Either way, the 60 pack of labels was cheaper locally than it is on Amazon. I am still tempted to order the standard packaging just to see if the bonus labels are there.
I primarily used these jars as spice holders. I’m currently in the process of moving into a new apartment for this year. So, I decided that I would nicely package some spices and take them to my new apartment. I’ve included pictures of the jars using the labels that come with the jar versus the chalkboard labels. I honestly prefer the chalkboard labels because it gives it a more polished look. Overall, I am very please with the quality of the jars I wish I had known that the lids was two piece. Nonetheless, I’m giving these jars 5 stars because I should’ve been more careful in looking over the description.
A surprising and awesome use for our family is snack cups for my one and three year old daughters! They are perfect serving size and very durable. We limit the plastic and disposable products in our household, so these are perfect for kids' snacks!
Herb Infused Honey:
Simmer a bunch of herbs in raw honey for 20-30 minutes or mix herbs with raw honey and let it "steep" for a couple of weeks. We usually use 2-3 tablespoons of dried herbs per cup of honey. We made two batches: lavender-chamomile and sage. The sage can be used as cough syrup or to flavor savory dishes like pork tenderloin.

Since I don't can very often, I save the metal lids+rings for future use and instead use the lids I save from my mayonnaise jars and shaker lids from my bulk spice jars [don't throw those lids out!] which fit perfectly.

I used these for a substrate mycology experiment and they worked out perfectly . I'd buy them again, too
