I love these shoes! They are by far the most comfortable flats I own. I purchased the pewter color and plan on ordering other colors. Love the cute little pouch they come in for an easy and tidy way to throw them in my purse. I wear a 7.5 or 8, so I ordered an 8 and they fit really well.

These are the most confortable shoes i have ever owned. The quality is great, perfect finish inside and outside, rubber soles make them anti slip, which is a feature i strongly appreciate, having a baby to carry around. They come in a cute bag, folded in half, which makes them perfect for travelling. After i got the first pair, i bought two more in different colors! Just an advise, they dont carry half sizes, so if you are, for instance, a 6 1/2, get a 6!! They do run a bit larger.

I only wore these shoes twice, they were so comfortable, but fell apart in the toe area right away. The leather came apart from the sole.

I have two pairs - the Violet and the Black Butter Skins, and I rarely ever buy the same design in shoes more than once. I have several pairs of flats from other good brands like Bloch, Butter and Trotters, but these are my favourite. Just to make a comparison, I would rate them above the famous ones from Yosi Samra because of their softer leather and elastic, the rubber sole that sensibly protects all the leather from touching the floor and the sock lining that I have come to be a fan of.

I only wish these came in half sizes. I usually wear 8M but may go up half a size in certain closed-toe shoes. I got these in 9M, which are definitely comfortable, but with extra room behind the heel (on me, the elastic in this sort of shoe distributes the surplus space behind the foot), yet I suspect that 8M might have been a little tight. All the same, the elastic keeps my foot securely in the shoe and the feel is, to me, the tactile definition of a foot glove.

Although these are clearly too delicate for long-distance or rough-and-ready use, I consider them highly functional for my purposes, as they are one of the very few pairs of shoes that I can wear when I drive or play the drums.

Update (25th Nov 2011): They have also performed very well on a three-day trip to Bali and during photoshoots that I need to walk around quietly. Feeling happy.

These are extremely comfortable and do not require breaking in. They also keep your feet really warm due to the lining. However, the outside can be really, really easily scuffed. Also, I usually wear 37, or size 7 in most brands (Lucky Jeans, Vera Wang Lavender, Stuart Weitzman, Bloch) or 6.5 (Joan and David, Franco Sarto), but these are the only shoes where I could tell that size 7 would be too small for me. My big toe was slightly poking out of the shoe in front, and I could tell that after a few wears, my big toe would create a hole in the front. I wish they offered a half size up, because I tried size 8 and that was much too big for me. Such a shame that such a comfortable shoe is lacking in quality (easily scuffed) and only offers full sizes. If anyone knows of comfortable, plain but cute ballet flats that one could wear all day every day please comment.

These are soft and attractive and I'm glad I got them. I'm very glad I listened to the reviews here and got a size up! My feet are on the narrow side and I wear a 9 to a 9 1/2 in gym shoes and sometimes boots. I got these in a 10, and they fit my smaller foot perfectly and my larger foot less so. This tells me there's absolutely no wiggle room in the size you get. you must order up! I love the classic look of these and the soles are sturdy enough for street wear.

Very attractive with ruching, and truly does feel like you're wearing a slipper. Very slim-lined, but not unsupportive. Gold color was not too pale but definitely not yellow or brassy. Highly recommend.

    Pros:
    - The red color is a nice, vibrant red like in the picture.
    - The leather is soft and conforms well to the foot.
    - The liner is very soft and perfect for bare feet
    - The shoes fold up nicely to fit in a purse.
    - The elastic around the ankle is enough to provide support and a good fit (no slipping out) but does not dig in or cause blisters.
    - There is no "wearing in" required.
    Cons:
    - The liner can get bunched between toes or in wrinkles under the foot, which is a bit uncomfortable.
    - There is no support or arch.
    - While the shoes fold up well, it shoe does go down at the arch instead of up at the arch.
    - There are no half sizes so it was difficult to find a good fit - the shoe was going to be a little bit too small or too big. I went with a little bit too small and it did eventually conform to my foot.
Overall they are good value for the money if you want a shoe that looks like a true ballet flat.
