I have used the plastic dividers for 25 years. When I came across these on Amazon I fell in love. Because the tray is adjustable it will fit just about any drawer. The bamboo is so smooth and then separates so easily for your needs. I enclosed a picture to offer a suggestion for its use.

Perfect for my desk drawer!

The material feels nice and construction seems sturdy. Although I bought a different one with more compartments for my kitchen drawers, the size of this one is perfect for my Ikea desk drawer and the compartments arrangement and sizes are appropriate for organizing office stuff. I will definitely buy more for my family members' desks soon!
