I bought two sets of these as a last minute purchase to line the river bank and driveway for my son's evening wedding. They arrived in two days. Other than one torch missing the wick and the boxes poorly taped up (I'm surprised I received all the torches), I don't have complaints.

I read other peoples reviews on the poor quality of the torches so we were extra careful when we inserted them into the ground and had no problems at all.

I was surprised at how small the fuel tanks are so we waited until it was almost dark to light them so that they would hopefully last until the end of the reception. I used the Firefly Eucalyptus Tiki Torch Fuel because it said that it lasts longer than other fuel. The torches all lit without any problems and we had to extinguish them all when the reception was over (about four hours) so who knows how long they would have lasted.

Overall, I am very happy that purchased these torches.

It's obvious that this set of tiki torches is from a defective batch, hence the low cost for the set. Because these are for a Survivor-themed birthday party for my daughter and these are for the players' torches, I don't care all that much but I wouldn't use these to actually light and put up in my yard. The tag that is attached to them has a photo of what they are SUPPOSED to look like. They are supposed to have a supportive basket weave on the top that holds the metal oil canister in place safely. These do not have what is shown in the photo that is on the product's tag (although the photo this seller has posted is accurate to what they actually look like). (Google basket weave tiki torch and you will see a photo of what they are supposed to look like) I would be hesitant to actually light these because there is not enough support on the canister (many of the lower supports on mine fell off during shipping so the canister is held on by one small strip of bamboo at the top) and the canister could fall and pose a fire hazard. Because I am using these as a party favor, I will doctor them up with tribal fabric and other decoration to make them more secure. If these are for a party favor, they are ok and very inexpensive but for a durable torch for your backyard, you may wish to spend a little more and get something longer-lasting and safer.

This item was such a great addition to our annual luau party. Everyone had a blast. They gave you the feeling that you were in Hawaii at a real luau. When you think of a Luau you think of fire and pigs and traditional music. It gave us the fire. It was very simple to assemble you put it in the ground fill it with the oil and just light. Just make sure no one is to close especially if its windy. We had about twenty of them scattered around the property. They lasted all night I was very surprised. Overall I was extremely happy with this product. It does exactly what you think it will do. The party lasted four hours and they did not go out expect for one towards the end. I think it was the wind personally it is windy in Key West. Overall I would recommend this to anyone interested in adding not so dangerous fire to add fun to the party or event.

These tiki torches are a little less quality than I was expecting for the price. Other than being pretty visibly low quality, they are much smaller than a regular tiki torch, and though the measurement was listed, it's not their height that is smaller than usual, it's the top part with the canister is a small little thing that will likely need to be refilled multiple times throughout the night and not last a full evening which is pretty disappointing for the purpose I purchased them for, it will be very inconvenient to need to refill them throughout the night. And their small size made them go from being pretty good for the price, to actually kind of being over priced. I've seen the regular full sized ones in Target for cheaper than these smaller ones in bulk. I'm only not returning them because it would be too expensive and too much hassle to return them at this point, but don't purchase these if you were expect ting regular sized tiki torches.

These were smaller than I expected but still did the job that we needed them to do. I thought hey would bet he same sizes st he ones that you get from Home Depot butt hey are about half that size. Still they did a nice job fort he price. A few did catch on fire though so I don't suggest putting them near anything that might catch on fire.

I pretty much ordered these thinking they would be cheap and good for a one time use. They are cheap, but that's not an excuse for them to arrive broken, damaged, and incomplete. When I opened the box, I felt the same way I feel when I pour the last of the cereal box - just bits and pieces and dented and crushed and scratched.

BUT - they're cheap and they're for camping and I thrown them in an RV compartment with a bunch of other junk so they're scratched and beat up and broken after the first use anyway.

I contacted the seller with a list of what missing and damaged and they promptly sent me out the replacements to make my order whole - no hassle, no fuss, so they get my vote. They didn't ask me to send back all the broken pieces and some I was able to rig back together and make them work. I'll buy again when I don't have enough left that still work.

If you're looking for high-end, outdoor wedding quality, keep looking. If you're looking for affordable, don't care if they get beat up and broken going in and out for your camping trips, these are PERFECT.

I ordered these on very short notice as some additional lighting for our outdoor live nativity at church - and right before Christmas. I was just praying they arrived by the very latest shipping estimate given (the day of our nativity)! But they arrived on the earlier end of the shipping estimate, eliminating a bit of stress for me. They worked great and we have saved them for next years event! Price was great too.
