What I loved most about this book was the author's betrayal of the men's men this group of guys truly is. They're gritty, raunchy at times, and total bachelors. I think it's probably the most accurate portrayal of a bunch of dudes that I've read. They like their danger high, sex raw, and women strong but understanding. Lucas was a great character to read as well as Marcy. I also loved the suspense aspect and thought how the author pulled the whole plot together was done really well.
I think he and his bachelor buddies gave us another realistic view of some of the relationships that happen for our military. Marcy was a confident women but she jumped right into the relationship with Lucas with little to no protest. I found this to be another example of a normally level headed women who falls for the sexy military bad boy and damns the consequence. Once you start reading this story and meet Connie, Lucas's soon to be ex wife you are going to understand and relate to Lucas so much better. I really like that Ms. Hamilton's storyline's connect and intertwine so well. It's like we get to see what is happening from several different points of reference and makes it all the more realistic. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into this author's writing, she doesn't just do one plot line with a HEA. She makes each different giving each story a new and unique twist capturing your interest and leaving you wanting more. I look forward to reading many more adventures with her hunky seals in the future.

Excerpt from SEAL Brotherhood: Lucas
He rolled over to shield his face
from the bright morning, and fell off the couch right onto his tailbone. The sharp pain added to the bruise he'd already created from previous sleepless nights. His ass made divots in between the
second and third cushions of the sectional, which was equally uncomfortable to
sit on. The grey scratchy fabric was Scotchguarded, making his back and balls
itch. His buddies on SEAL Team 3 had
picked up this wonderful piece of loungery
for two hundred bucks four months ago. The San Diego Goodwill was so happy to
get rid of it, they gave the team the matching return without charging a penny
the floor, Lucas stared eye-level at the hunk of junk he'd battled with all night long
and knew it would still go up like a torch regardless of the Scotchguard. As he pulled his body up, the matching loveseat veering off to the right gaped at him, its bent footrests looking like
huge gumless jaws. The thing was laughing at him.
was nothing like his king sized bed with the Egyptian Cotton sheets at home,
the home he'd been kicked out of a month ago. He hadn't expected to have to
sleep on his buddies' couch this long, which meant that soon his pain would be
over and Connie would change her mind and have him back.
