Band in 'Philadelphia' Party Scene?

Help! Can anyone provide the name of the band singing the slow song during the costume party scene in 'Philadelphia'? ( "Heaven is a place...") I don't see the song on either of the soundtracks. If not the band, how about the song title? The woman has a wonderful voice, and I've wondered about this song for years. Thanks in advance!

This is over two years coming, but I loved that song too and I am disgusted Q Lazzarus was given no play.It may be a Talking Heads tune, but that chick takes it to a whole other level. I have been looking for the full version also. That joint sung by this lady touches the soul. Listened to the THs version and it was like beige paint for me. Love the Heads, but the jam is too soulful for them.

Wow I'd forgotten I posted this question. I was amazed that version was not available on either soundtrack; it MADE that scene for me, it was so perfect. I used to rewind the DVD just to hear that little bitty piece. That, and Denzel later cuddling his sleepy baby girl were just so heart and soul-touching.
Thanks for the reminder! 'Beige paint'-- LOL.

Yes-it actually says above that I would 'rewind the DVD'. LOL, meant the DVR.
Haven't checked lately for the song, thanks much to you for the second reminder!

Well, it's the end of September, 2016 & I too have searched diligently for that song, sung exactly as it was during the party in "Philadelphia". I can not find it either. The Talking Heads version doesn't even come close with the music & the words are different. If anyone ever finds the exact version, please post it here.....so that we all might "Rest in Peace" !!!

I have been looking for this song, too. It's driving me crazy to find the woman who sang it and cannot fint it anywhere.
