Godzilla 2000 Millennium

This figure is just awesome. The sculpt is amazing, the paint is superb, and the articulation on him is the best any Godzilla has had in this line so far. The design of this figure is actually not the design of Godzilla from the film Godzilla 2000, but it's an unused design by Yuji Sakai (also sculptor of the entire SH Monsterarts line) for that film. So if you want a 100% accurate Godzilla 2000 figure, this is not it, however I love this figure no less and in fact love this design more because of just how more vicious it looks. My only complaint is that my figure's right hand is very loose and comes off if I mess with it a lot but it also goes back in pretty easily. Still this figure is the must own Godzilla figure of this line so if you don't mind that it's not the design used in the film, I say get it. Totally Worth it.

Amazing detail

S.H. MonsterArts did an excellent job on this Godzilla. I must advise that the description states that it has the "longest tail of any figure in the series"--this in not correct. S.H. MonsterArts Fire Godzilla has the longest tail. Maybe they meant to say that this Godzilla has the longest articulated tail. Fire Godzilla's tail is a little bit longer, but the articulation ends before the tip of the tail. In this 2000 Millennium Godzilla, the articulation is present throughout the tail....making it unique. Be advised---the posture you see is what you get. This Godzilla leans forward--kinda hunched--. I believe it is in this position due to the amazing long back ridges. The arms/shoulders have more range than the previous Godzilla's which helps make up for the posture of this figure. The ankles have great articulation, as does the wrist, tail, and neck. The tongue is in a position that does move slightly when mouth is closed. Well worth the $$ for this one! You won't be disappointed!

Best Godzilla fig ever? Debatable....

I recieved my S.H Monsterarts Goji 2000 figure earlier today, and I must say that i'm impressed. The level of detail is amazing, the articulation is awesome, and the poses you can do him in quite marvelous. Only problems I have is that the fig itself doesn't seem to stand tall like how it is on the back of the box, or that could be just my imagination, and his left arm pops off you try to move it too much. When I stand Goji 2000 next to my burning Gojira s.h figure, it seems that burning g's head is higher tha G2K's head, and the only thing that really makes him taller is his spikes, but eh, i'm not complaining. Box was a little damaged, but no biggie. Other then that, it's an amazing figure. Is it the best Godzilla fig ever, maybe, maybe not. All a matter of opinions, because i'm still attached to my first s.h fig ever, which is Burning Godzilla. Is it worth it to get s.h G2K? It sure is!

Superb quality, painting, articulation

Never have I seen such a good kaiju action figure. There's a lot of good here, and only one thing bad (and by bad, I mean missing).
THE GOOD:
-Good articulation Various ways to move the figure. Now, it's not just what you think of, there are a lot of moving areas of the figure you would not expect would be movable. Specifically, his torso is sculpted in a way so when you move it it freely moves at natural angles.The plastic is a bit more flexible than the Godzilla Heisei figure, which had the problem of being extremely stiff, limiting the range of movement, making much of the articulation pointless. Not the case here.
-Great texture! Obviously they must have higher quality sculpting equipment for this one. Every bump appears intentional and distinct. There is a degree of depth to the entire figure, something missing from a lot of giant monster figures.
-superb paint job. Looks like the showfloor model.
-Awesome packaging. Every kid knows part of the experience is the awesome packaging the toy comes in. This one does not disappoint. A high grade side profile photo of the figure adorns the front of the box in a diagonal split between it and clear plastic to show the figure inside. It's also easy to unbox, which is a rarity. No incredible amount of twist ties or getting limbs stuck in form plastic.
-The tail! One of the most articulated tails for Godzilla. It's long, it's easily movable, and bends naturally.
The bad
Not really anything except the figure could have used an effect part for the atomic breath to be, well, cool.

One of the best figures of Godzilla ever. This one's well worth the price, and will last a long time.

I LOVE me some Godzilla!!!!

I have loved Godzilla since I was a wee lad, remembering sitting down and watch these and other Sci-Fi/Horror jewels on a Saturday afternoon. Dr. Shock, Creature Double Feature anyone remember those.
Anyway this is my fourth S.H. Monsterarts my first being the first release of Godzilla and that I think is an incredible figure, but I have to say that this is an improvement over that one. The articulation is a vast improvement, you can get any Godzilla pose you want. The neck itself has 3 joints, the torso has 2 joints and the leg has a foot joint, mid shin joint as well as the knee have a double joint. Heck even the tongue in his mouth is poseable, well you can move it up and down in it's mouth.
This Godzilla is so much fiercer looking than the previous releases. The only let down and it's not a big deal is that you get no accessories with this release, imagine getting a couple of little vehicles for him to step on, now that would be awesome.
