I thought this was absolutely fantastic. The story was really interesting, and the idea of a relationship assassin is neat. Scott, the assassin, is someone that I couldn't help but love, even though I didn't always know if I loved him or the pretend him. It was really interesting to see the confident guy he started out as and to watch as his character slowly changes as time passes. Emma, a woman hired to be another relationship assassin, makes an interesting character and the strained relationship between her and Scott is comical.
I thought this book was just so funny and a really great story. The main character, despite having a despicable job and questionable morals, is someone that I couldn't help but just love. He is funny and quirky, and I think he really cares about women, although it's hard to tell. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys lighthearted stories with a little humor.
And I gotta admit, there were definitely quite a few twists and turns throughout the book. I never did know quite where it was heading, so it did keep me on my toes.
The only negs I have to say is that is that I never did really quite grasp what genre I was really reading here. I don't want to give it away, but it left me wondering, was it a romance, or more of action book? I just don't know? Hard to say. It was all over the place. Sad at times, sometimes funny, romantic.......I guess......
I'll leave it for you to decide.
But definitely worth the time to read.
Also, reminded me a lot of John Locke's Donovan Creed Books.....Just sayin......Coincedence.. Maybe....imho
