Not so much depicting Bansky's artwork. A lot of footage of people trying to search down the latest Bansky's display, but a lot of them are not drawings but words. I love his work but thought the movie was more about chasing down his images than the images themselves. Maybe I just wanted a different movie.

Am 1. Oktober 2013 verwandelte der britische Streetart- Künstler "Bansky" die Stadt New York für einen Monat in die größte Open-Air-Kunst-Galerie der Welt. Jeden Tag tauchte an einem nicht zuvor bekanntgegbenen Ort in der Stadt ein neues Bild oder Kunstwerk des mysteriösen Künstler Phantoms auf.
Eine 31 Tage andaurende "Schnitzeljagd" begann und versetzte die New Yorker Kunstszene, viele Fans und vor allem die sozialen Medien in Aufruhr. Wo Banksy drauf steht, ist auch Banksy drin! Nicht immer, hier ist es jedoch der Fall.
Es sind die Arbeiten von Banksy in New York City zu sehen. Nicht mehr und auch nicht weniger.
Der Artist Banksy ist im Film nicht zu sehen und auch nicht wie er seine Arbeiten hergestellt und installiert hat.
Alles ist ein wenig aus der Sicht des Street Art Betrachters, der durch die Viertel von NYC hetzt, um seine Werke zu bewundern (Fotografieren), bevor diese von irgendwelchen Graffiti -Vandalen gecrosst werden.

Der Streifen ist kein MUSS. Der Film ist interessant und sorgt bei den einen oder anderen bestimmt für einen kreativen Schub.
