Also, I think it was a juror who likened Michele Anderson to "A Beautiful Mind" in comparison to her mental problems, however, in no way was she like John Nash who won a Nobel prize in economic theory; Sanders was no doubt simply relating conversational events but it seems like a notation would have been made that there's no comparison between Michele Anderson & John Nash of the biography A Beautiful Mind.
Scott Anderson (32, Michele’s brother, husband/father, construction), Erica Anderson (32, wife/mother), & their 2 children: Olivia Anderson (5) & Nathan Anderson (3) arrived shortly to the parents, grandparents’ house; never again would they return to their own home.

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written true crime book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great movie, or better yet a mini TV series or even a documentary (True Crime; American Crime Story; Investigative Discovery). A very easy rating of 5 stars.

The reason for the 3 stars? The last chapter of the book reveals that there is a part 2 and teases us mercilessly.
IT STATES the second book "Beyond The Pale the Carnation murders book 2 will be available for release December 24th 2017"
and yet it is nowhere to be found.
I found that irresponsible, misleading and disappointing.
Get it together Paul!
The author still has a weird thing about reporting tie colors, but other than that, I think he brought out the flavor of the trial very well.
I'm going to be looking for books by this author in the future.
