Keagan & Liam are fraternal twins. Liam is the beloved twin that his father is extremely proud of while Keagan is the bad boy that is always being looked down upon. When Keagan is sent to a different school he joins the football team and Liam is already on his. They are about to play the game of their life when not only are their rivaling schools about to play each other but the brothers have never been more at odds.
Tara is a Banshee. She has visions of when and how someone will die when she touches them. She knew her parents would die in a car accident but couldn't get them to believe her. She now carries the guilt of their deaths on her shoulders. She has been dating Liam as he is safe and she enjoys that in her life. Her visions always showed her that Liam would have a long life....until now. Suddenly the vision has changed and she just has to change his fate. And if Liam wouldn't listen to her then she just had to convince Keagan to help. And she was desperate enough to use any means she could to do so.
This is a shorter story that can be read pretty quickly but it is also a full story. It is unique and well written.
It flows. It has a decent storyline. I couldn't put it down.
The only reason this isn't a 5 is because I still found the main characters to be sophmorish. It's not that they were under developed per say - because they weren't. It's just that I wanted more depth, more reasonableness. It's also why I tend to stay away from most YA books. I just don't like the way most young people are written as so shallow.
That said, this was worth every penny. It was a solid (albeit short), entertaining read.

Can you live knowing when the people you love will die? What would you do to save their lifes and change their fate? Well meet Tara; a girl that is a banshee and her power is to sense tragedy, dead; bad things, not happiness. She's in high school and is inbetween two hot twin; Liam her current boyfriend is the sun in the body of a cute, perfect in school, family and relationship body and soul; where Keagan is a cloudy storm and hot sin.. and her real love. What can she do when she sees that Liam's fate has change after a fight with his brother? and worst of all... Keagan is the one who kills him. Can love and attractions be the solution?
I really liked how the banshee creature or power was in this story! I wish I could have read more in this story but I really recommend it! you will really love the characters !
My other gripe is that, being Celtic, this was a far cry from what a Banshee is in my understanding, so found the title very misleading.
