I bought these to use as cross-stitch project bags. The A4 size is perfect for a small project and will fit a Q-snap frame (up to 8" x 8"), pattern and flosses. They keep my projects dry and protected and are much sturdier than plastic resealable bags. I like that they come in multiple colors so they help me stay organized. Handmade fabric project bags can cost upwards of $35 to $50 each, so these are a great, economical alternative for the crafter on a budget.

Not sure if I am an idiot or what but while the bag is made of a material that is waterproof the zipper is NOT waterproof. It is obviously still open at the very end where the zipper closes. I tested it in a sink and sure enough no matter how hard I try the zipper let in water. Once water was in the bag i held it quite well. I opted to buy simple large zip-loc bags after this purchase.

With these bags, I can keep projects separate, and just grab the bag I want whenever I want to work on that project. I like the colors and the reasonable price. I would definitely buy these again, and would recommend them to others. There are so many potential uses for these things, and they are see-through enough that you can tell what's in them.

These zipper bags are well constructed, tough and durable. Fits both A4 and Letter size. Zipper runs smooth, opens and closes easily. The PVC is waterproof but not the joining seams. The zipper will let wetness through. The bag can endure light abrasions and an accidental splash of water. However, it will still soak through if dropped and left long enough in a puddle of water. Picking it up and drying quick enough and the paper inside would be OK. These bags serve well enough to protect documents reasonably. Simply put, a great buy.

These bags don't take much abuse. If they are meant to keep in a closet to store things, fine. But if you wanna use them in a backpack, they won't last more than a year. They'll break up, and fray into an ugly mess. Upgrade to PVC bags if they are for semi-rugged use.
