Have struggled to fully clean an enameled cast iron pan that’s been used as a broiling pan for a few years without a fully complete cleaning. After using dish soap and baking soda with boiling water, I was out of ideas. I used about half a can of this version of BKF over about 20 cycles of scrubbing and rinsing and it got the inside about 95 percent clean and the outside about 90 percent. Nothing else I tried could move the needle as much as the silver BKF. I’m sure there’s a way to get everything to 100 percent by leaving BKF on overnight or scrubbing with a better instrument, but it doesn’t seem worth that much more effort.
The silver BKF has worked super well on all my stainless cookwear, too. A few pans that I could never get totally clean with dish soap alone became 100 percent clean very quickly.
My only gripe is that it seems to take a LOT of product to get a semi-dry, hard scrubbing consistency on anything larger than a 10 inch pan. I went through two cans of this stuff in a week. If you’re cleaning a bunch of cookwear for the first time with BKF, double your order. I imagine maintenance cleanings that follow won’t need as much product. Will buy this again for sure!

This stuff is the bomb diggity! My stainless steel pots and pans had been hastily packed away and sat in storage for nearly two years after Hurricane Michael destroyed my community and damaged my home. After I moved back in, I needed something to get them clean and friends recommended Barkeepers Friend. Am I ever glad they did. This cleaning product brought back the luster and shine of my cookware with minimal effort on my part. A little bit of water, sprinkle some Barkeepers Friend on them, wipe them down and they now look nearly new again. It also worked beautifully on my porcelain double sink, leaving no trace behind. I'm thoroughly impressed and so happy I bought a two pack.

My inital order of BKF was abort because the shipper found it damaged and returned. I wondered what that was all about but after receiving the second order I say the problem - a paper envelope as the shipping container. Neither box was busted open but clearly damaged in transist.
My message is simple - use a box so if it get dropped it does not bust the cardboard container.

Great product - did all my vinatage Reverware pots and pans and could not be happier with the result. Really is a much easier product to use than misc. copper cleaners I have used over the years. HOWEVER, with that said, who ever was the bozo that decided to ship cardboard cannisters in an envelope and not a box was out of their mind with thata decision.By CM in KS on December 26, 2021

Good morning. I've have been seasoning my stainless steel pots and pans just before i cook and keeping the heat at low to medium. Some of the food i prepare still sticks, but not as bad as when i first started. The first time cooking barbeque chicken in a skillet instead of the oven, some of the chicken stuck badly. However, using Bar Keepers Friend cleaner for the first time really surprised me. Using a bit of muscle the burnt chicken was removed and the shine was restored like new. I still use a little sprinkle of this magic powder when dish washing liquid and water can't remove some stains alone. Fish and eggs are still a bit of a problem, but Bar Keeper's can take care of it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. One more thing. The first time i ordered one of the container's was leaking and some of the powder spilled into the packaging. This time there was No leakage and the plastic seal around the 2 containers held up nicely during shipping.
