Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser is a ready-to-use formula that removes rust stains, tarnish, hard water deposits, soap scum, grease and grime from a variety of surfaces. Our soft cleanser is powerful enough to remove oil stains from epoxy-coated concrete garage floors but gentle enough to use on vintage enamel cookware.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Shake well before use.
Squeeze a small amount of BKF Soft Cleanser onto a wet surface or damp sponge.
Use a damp sponge to spread the cleanser across the surface.
Rinse thoroughly within one minute of application.
Wipe the surface dry.
Repeat this process, if necessary.

Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser contains no harsh chemicals.

The active ingredient is oxalic acid, a natural organic acid found in plants such as rhubarb, spinach, and asparagus. BKF Soft Cleanser is safe to use on most surfaces: stainless steel, copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, glass, porcelain, ceramic and more.

DO NOT USE ON: silver, gold, or natural stone such as marble, granite, travertine, or limestone, or on lacquered, painted, or mirrored surfaces. Stainless steel appliances are often coated in a protective film that could be damaged by scouring powder and cleansers. Always read your appliance manufacturer's recommendations before cleaning. When cleaning any surface or item in your home with a scouring powder, spray cleaner, or soft cleanser, test the product on a small, inconspicuous area first.


Use BKF Soft Cleanser on ceramic tiles, and porcelain sinks and tiles, Corian vanities, light-colored grout, in the bathtub, and on fixtures and faucets to remove hard water deposits, soap scum, grime, and rust stains. BKF Soft Cleanser clings to vertical surfaces, so it's ideal for cleaning shower doors and tile walls.	Use BKF Soft Cleanser to clean the stovetop, countertop, oven racks, glass oven door, stainless steel pots and pans, stainless steel sinks, copper pots and pans, aluminum pans, and tarnished utensils. I ordered this for some problem cleaning areas like my glass cook top, oven door, and shower track. Some of the reviews made it sound like it was a miracle cleaner. Others said it had a really strong chemical smell. I found neither of those to be the case.

It's a good cleaner, but I'm not sure how many applications I'll find for it. It did nothing to my oven door. I didn't really expect it to, but a girl can dream. It cleaned the glass cook top with the addition of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and a lot of elbow grease. It's not as good as the cleaner made specifically for cook tops. For the shower track, again it was just a lot of elbow grease and no different from other cleaners.

So no miracles here, but I'll use it until it's gone. The smell is not off-putting like others said. It just smells like a cleaning product.

You can toss smelly, toxic, expensive products... it's likely that this will work better.

I wish I had discovered Bar Keepers Friend soft cleanser decades ago.
In the kitchen, I smear it on ancient crud on broiler pans, niches around pan handles, burned-on discoloration on pan bottoms, metal stovetop burner racks and gas rings, copper cookware.
On the copper, I just turn the pan upside down, smear some on with my fingertips, and in 15 minutes it has worked without further effort.
That's a lot easier than vinegar and salt!
In the bathroom, removes stains and soap buildup and leaves tiled walls, toilets, and tubs clean and smooth.
Rinse well... the product is white and you may have to hit it with a wet paper towel if you missed wiping off all of it. No biggie.
Contains no bleach, ammonia, or other overkill chemicals.
No fumes or perfumes.
Price can't be beat!
Safe for porcelain, ceramic, copper, stainless, and sterling silver.
It's one of those products that you are happy to have discovered.
