From the Author
Revised Expanded Anniversary Edition
This has been completely revised, re-edited, and expanded. Expansion is roughly 12,000 words longer from the original word count, but some things were deleted, moved, added. It went from 19 chapters to 32.
Q: How do I know if I have the new edition?
Easy. The title. New expanded edition: Barbarian Prince / First edition: THE Barbarian Prince
Q: Should I buy the old or new edition?
New, of course. The new version has more content. Old edition print books are often more expensive than the new. Some were on sale for hundreds of dollars. So, buy the new.

There are other instances where he uses her hair or grasps her neck to force her to do what he wants (and not in like a sexy way, but in a you’re-my-slave-and-need-to-be-disciplined sort of way). I actually did like the story line of her accidentally becoming a slave but there are plenty of other ways to handle him being the ‘disrespected master’ without resorting to physical dominance or abuse.
Morrigan is a reporter who accepted an assignment to go undercover as a prospective bride with Galaxy Brides in order to expose the company. She never really thinks that she will be chosen as a bride, there is no way she is staying on a primitive planet, and never believes that one of the princes would actually choose her.
Ualan is the future king of the Draig on the planet Qurilixian and is a hot, hunky dragon shifter. Each draig was given a crystal at birth that glows when they meet their destined match. Ualan is happy with fate's choice for him, Morrigan is beautiful, spirited, and he wants her more than anything.
Morrigan should have done a better job of reading all of the information given to the brides about their possible future home, she didn't upload everything about the wedding ceremony and wedding night, so she didn't exactly know what was happening or what was expected of her.
In this anniversary edition, the wedding night is hotter than it ever was, thank you to the author for finally allowing the reader a glimpse into what the bride and groom can use the chair for (HOT)! The book does a really good job of expanding on the back story and setting up the reader to read about the three other princesses and gives some information about the Dragon Lord's cousins.
I loved this book, Michelle M. Pillow's world is so much fun to read about and really draws a reader in. Read this book and you will be hooked. Love scenes are really hot and come at the right time in the book, highly recommended reading!
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Beyond how much I disliked the character, Rigan, I also thought the plot skipped over a lot of events. You wouldn't even know they were at war except a princess gets kidnapped and people get poisoned. But it's all so briefly and vaguely mentioned that the author might as well have just left it all out.
I can't recommend this book to anyone. Not even if it was free and you were desperate. Walk away. If you want to read a story on dragon shifters, go to G.A. Aiken's books. The only blessing is that this was a short story and didn't take much time to finish. In hindsight, I wouldn't have even bothered finishing it.

At that point, as if it wasn't silly enough already, she behaves like a pampered ten years old, yet tells her new beau she's a prostitute. Oh, and the writer decides to throw in some gratuitous bondage. It was so bad it had an awful fascination. Simply put, I gambled 99p and lost. I should have looked harder at the poor cover. Seriously, don't waste the 99p.
Morrigan is a reporter and she's desperate to find out the truth behind Galaxy Brides and whilst she's there hopefully get an interview with one of the secretive Draig princes but when Morrigan lands on Qurilixen and is chosen by Prince Ualan it's a whole new ball game. Morrigan hadn't really expected to get chosen and is utterly confused by their strange customs when it comes to marriage but one things certain this gorgeous hunk of manhood sure knows how to treat a woman right! Of course there's also the slight issue of him shifting forms to deal with but that's nothing compared to getting used to the strange and barbaric ways of the Draig. Add in that not everyone on the planet is happy about the all too human Brides and things are about to get very complicated indeed.
I loved this book when I first read it and I'm even more enamoured with this new improved and expanded version of it. I loved reading all those sexy scenes again and Ualan sure does pour on the charm , it's just a pity that his bride is so stubborn but it all adds to the fun. They share a very passionate connection but it' takes effort and honesty for their relationship to truly bloom . At times as a reader I wanted to bang their heads together but the pay off was so worth it. If you enjoy romance and a little sci fi thrown in then this book is a must read and I just love these Dragon Lords
I have voluntarily reviewed this copy and my thoughts are honest and I believe fair
The series is great, and some situations can be far fetched however, it's the future, it's space it's romance, so read and enjoy.
I would highly recommend it for some light reading.
