Maybe Always In the Box but Someone Else Was In There Too

My grand daughter wanted a blonde Ken doll. There were two available. One was for [...] and the other was for $10.95 plus S&H. Since it was stated that both Ken dolls had never been out of the box, I purchased the one for $10.99. It came well within the time stated and in time for Christmas. The Ken doll may not have been out of the box, but there was an ink stain on his green swim trunks. In all fairness, I will say that someone put in another set of clothes for him. I would have preferred that the doll's clothing had looked new, too. At any rate, it did work out alright as I do not think that my 6 year old grand daughter was too concerned with the stain on the swim suit and did enjoy changing his clothes. The Ken doll is out of the box now and being well used with Sarah's other Barbie companions. Since Sarah is a 'player' and not a 'collector', I do not suppose there is any harm done. I was just a little disappointed that Ken did not look completely new. It would have been helpful if some type of notice about the stain had been stated.

Simply Amazing Digimon DVD!

For years I have been searching and hoping that a new Digimon dvd would be released. Well my search is finally over thanks to Alliance Entertainment. After buying the Twentieth Century Fox Season 1 release back in 2001 (mind you, it was not the complete season 1...rather just random episodes), I was hoping some company would finally release Season 1 in "order." Well this disc does that and more. The disc contains the first 6 episodes of Season 1. The Video & Sound quality on the dvd are absolutely perfect. Unlike the 2001 release, the video quality wasn't compromised aka no pixelation. Here are the discs contents:

Episodes 1-6

1."And So It Begins,"

2."The Birth of Greymon,"

3."Garurumon"

4."Biyomon Gets Firepower,"

5."Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker,"

6."Togemon in Toy Town"

Ultimately this dvd is a dream come true for any Digimon fan as most consider season 1 as the best. Hopefully more volumes will follow in the future. I recommend this dvd for any animation collector as Digimon is one of the rare series that can be enjoyed by children and even adults. Truly a MUST HAVE DVD!

It's a start... Again...

Finally, Season 1 has 'Started Over' in releasing "Digimon Adventure". For a moment, let's forget the simple releases that have been attempted by Fox and Alliance Entertainment and look at what we REALLY could have. It doesn't surprise me that they've only been able to show the first 13 episodes of the Digimon saga (Fox). This volume shrinks it even more to only 6 or 7. So, what's the next volume going to have? Probably 7/8 to 13. I won't be even remotely impressed unless they can produce the episodes that have never made it to public copy: Episodes 14 and on through Seasons 2, 3, 4. The only thing I crave more than ALL the Anime series I've collected is obtaining ALL of the Digimon episodes (Season 1- 52), (Season 2- 50), (Season 3- 51), (Season 4- 51). There are a number of episodes that NEED to get to DVD as are availible all over the U.K. and Japan. (Complete Box Sets)
