Exceptional academic research which incorporates the authors personal history. This is a non-judgemental, informational description of food addiction. It clearly explains food addiction in clear, easily understandable terms.
I recommend this book to anyone who has suffered though diet after diet and lost and gained weight in spite of their best intentions. I especially recommend this book to those who have given up and believe their only hope is surgery. This read will answer the perplexing questions of food addiction when you didn't know you had questions. Addiction professionals need to read this along with anyone who is in recovery from another addiction than food.
