Another complaint I have seen, that I will address, are the bolts. Almost everyone has complained about how shoddy the bolts were. If people would simply read the product listing, the bolts are advertised as aluminum. Everyone who knows anything about bows, crossbows, ect., knows that Aluminum arrows don't last usually more than one shot. Aluminum bends very easily. My advice, go to your nearest Cabela's, Gander Mtn, Walmart, ect. And pick up some carbon bolts. They last longer. Aluminum bolts are given to get a few practice shots in, and familiarize yourself with the crossbow and how it works.
All in all, I love this crossbow, have used it quite a bit, and had no problems with it. Take care of it like you are supposed to and it should last awhile.
Hope this helps.
Accessories to go with it. Buy the Barnett Crossbow cocking rig--makes it so easy. And a decoking arrow. Other than that buy with Barnett confidence and have fun
