Great lights, my succulents love it! They have even showed signs of slight color Stress since going under them. It’s funny the difference in my plants since sitting on my windowsill to under these grow lights

Edit: I posted a picture and video of my lights and plants. The plants are shown after being under the grow lights for almost a year. No stretching and they even got some sun stressing in some of them

These lights are very compact and easy to mount. The reflectors enhance the light output while shielding glare in the process. They run a bit warm to the touch, but that is to be expected considering they have two rows of angled LEDS. I compared these over more expensive fixtures on the market with similar spectral curves but decided these were just as good if not better. I have a 24” x 36" wide shelving unit so initially I was looking for a 3ft version but it’s difficult to find one with a reflector. The 24" length is actually more versatile if you’re not fully committed to lighting the entire shelf at that moment. Everyone's needs are different but if your growing small greens or just want to green up your sprouts for a short duration you couldn't go wrong with these lights. I purchased 3 sets of them with the intention of putting 6 per shelf, this would have been over kill and generated to much heat. One fixture at a height of 12" above the canopy seems to be more than you'll need to cover the outer edges of a standard growing tray 10"x20". with room to spare. I feel confident these were a good choice for early growth vegetation and hopefully they’ll last a long time.

I'm getting ready for the 2022 garden. My goal is to start more plants from seed in my kitchen and buy fewer plants from the big box store.

Several years ago I had deep pink/purple lights on goosenecks. They were great for the plants, but I could never get used to the weird color light and all of the goosenecks and wires made things look messy and industrial.

Last year I bought 12 of the strip lights in yellow. They're great on the eyes but just okay for the plants. I wanted more light so I could have more space and I saw that Barrina was selling a compromise between deep pink and warm yellow.

I bought 12 of the pinkish-white lights. The installation the second time through was really simple now that I knew what I was doing. They hang discreetly under my wire shelves and provide a very even light.

One of the new lights stopped working within a few minutes of turning it on. I contacted Amazon customer services with low expectations. About 30 minutes later I got an email from Barrina customer support. I sent them photos to document the problem. A couple of emails and one hour later, they were sending me an open-box return from another customer. They arrived yesterday in great shape. So, one was defective and they replaced it with six. That's a great deal for me. I'm happier than I would have been if they all worked in the first place.

Working great so far. I started some seeds last month and they are doing very well. I planted a variety of plants to see how they did under these lights. I think they are all doing well 😁 everything from lettuce, tomatoes, peppers & flowers. I will be ordering another set and starting more seeds at the time I am technically supposed to. I planted these to test the lights and they are working good enough that I will order more so I have more shelves for seedlings. I will update how things go while these get larger. I think these are definitely worth the price.

Based on their 2FT size, the lights themselves have strong illumination and provide a full spectrum that plants require, including green and yellow which enhances the effectiveness of blue and red. Thus far, they have held up well to the high humidity levels in my greenhouse while having little impact on the temperature.

The lights come with plenty of accessories for mounting. This is something sorely lacking in most other LED grow kits which don't take into account that someone may be hanging theirs from a rack rather than a ceiling. Special T8 clips were provided to allow bar mounting such as on those found in a portable greenhouse. The reflectors aid in directing light downward, reducing the need for a reflective film for those with tents and greenhouses. The tubes are extremely light making them easy to hang without added support. The linking and power cables are the longest I've seen in similar kits. Unfortunately I will need to replace them with shorter cables for my setup.

I grow carnivorous plants for sale and I spent weeks shopping for LED bar lights that provide something beyond the common blue and red LED layout. I believe these in combination with Barrina's warm white lights, will provide the proper spectrum required for all stages of plant growth. The warm white will add a bit more punch to the green and yellow spectrum.

To no fault of the manufacturer, I received these a day late. I was already pushing the light deprivation limits of my seedlings and will likely lose many as a result. This will prompt a change with my future Amazon orders.

I just received the 4 foot lights today and so far I am quite pleased. They were very easy for this 70 year old grandma to install. I’m using them for some houseplants so far and may sprout seeds later. I’m like the light even though they definitely look pinkish especially when they are on after dark. The windows in this room are north east facing and don’t get bright enough light later in the afternoon so these will help. I’m not sure how close the plants can be to the lights so I’ll try for a couple of hours a day to begin with. If anything changes I will update my review later but so far I’m very happy.

Winter is coming and for the past few years I had tried keeping my succulents inside a little green house on the balcony and running a small portable heater when temperature falls below 5 degrees. That didn't work out too well and most of them didn't made it through the winter.

This year I have decided to move all my succulents indoor in an attempt to keep them alive. Spent a whole day cleaning up the garage to make space for these guys. Ordered a set of four 2 footers and they arrived in just 2 days. Perfect timing as temperature has already dropped to freezing here in BC.

I'm using 3 in the garage and 1 in the washroom (see before n after pics), which are both "no cats zones". Quality of the lights are better than what I have expected. They don't look cheap at all. I'm happy with the brightness (12"-14" above the succulents). Indeed I'm a bit worried about burning so I have set the timer for 3 hours only and will gradually ramp it up to 8-10 hours. Light weight and comes with plenty of hardwares which makes installation easy I hung mine using tie straps and string.

I'm happy with both setups. My daughter said it looks so fancy! Haaha! Hopefully these lights will last and will keep my plants happy.

Acheté en sept. 2020, tout le matériel est neuf après vérification et les del sont parfaites. J'attends en janvier 2021 pour l'installation. Prête à assembler l'ensemble et démarrer mes semis, tout va bien jusqu'à ce qu'un réflecteur de lampes ne s'assemble pas au niveau des glissières , je cherche et fini par trouver qu'elle est mal assembler au niveau des glissières ( le plastique recouvre la glissière) il est donc impossible d'installer le dernier réflecteur. j'aimerais que le vendeur me procure une lampe avec une glissière bien installée. difficile de bien photographier parce que le plastique ne rend pas la photo évidente . Je suis déçue car c'est un très beau kit de leds pour plantes et semis. j'attends des nouvelles du vendeur, la photo 4 démontre la bonne installation. Le vendeur a communiqué rapidement avec moi pour résoudre le problème. Je n'avais qu'à enlever les petites vis au dos et replacer le plastique qui protège les dels, j'ai facilement installé le réflecteur. voilà ce fut très rapide et tout est parfait. merci.

So I ordered a damaged box for a bit less than the full price but this is my 2nd set of these lights the other 4 are growing 4 cannabis plants but these lights have a different colour than the other lights they are the same brand size everything is the same except the colour of the lights are different this set is more clear light and the others are a bit yellow so I found that kinda weird but I doubt it will have any effect on the plants. I'm going to use this set to grow some vegetables so I will know soon if the colour difference has any effect. My plants are doing great they are very healthy I recommend these lights and this brand for growing. The plants in my picture are around 4 weeks old.
