Not worth the price with all the charts taken out. You can get Barrons online for less. All of the Amazon kindle books are getting too expensive. Pricing themselves out of business.

Not interested in penta and the wealthy. Just stick with good investment advise for the 90% of your readers who are not rich!

Before Rupert Murdoch took over, I had subscribed to Barron's for decades and read it over the weekend as a sort of ritual. After one extreme right wing column too many, I canceled my subscription and now only buy it periodically. I think the editorial staff abuses its bully pulpit to promulgate far right talking points that have nothing to do with how to invest my money into its content. I winced but kept reading when they called then California Governor Davis (D) an "economic idiot" for alleging that Enron, a company touted in its pages until the end, was engaging in systematic fraud and price manipulation. We now know Enron was, making me wonder who the economic idiot in this exchange really was. I tried to look away when they passed on Swift Boat Veterans for Truth (remember them?) talking points as newsworthy, but when they took on healthcare reform, an area I am intimately familiar with, as some diabolical scheme to promote Big Government and kill for profit health insurers, all while ruining American healthcare as we know it, I had had enough. I read Barron's for insight to help invest my money, not to pass on Austrian school talking points about healthcare reform, regulation, taxes, or the budget. Were it not for this partisan extremism, I would rate Barron's far higher since much of the content is excellent.

As I live abroad the Kindle version has always enticed me, despite the higher price than the online service. Just bought the latest issue and realized it cannot be viewed on my Android device. As Clint would say, "Swell!" They support Apple-ware but not G-ware.

The wait continues...
