I received a free copy of this ebook.
Overall, this was just perfect. A sweet story, without being overly predictable or soppy. To me, the story also proceeded at a perfect pace. If you love reading fiction for relaxation, this book should be perfect. It will be well worth your time.
I wish the main house in story was described more. I felt that backdrop had more to say .
Under the nose of her soon-to-be husband, she takes action and makes her dreams come true. But true to Caldwell's marvelous writing style, she restrains the couple to act within the parameters of the Western society of the times in which this story is framed. It is a great Saturday afternoon read and I recommend it to anyone who is a sucker for romance in the West.
