So cute but oh so big

I love Bass shoes, but they run BIG. I am normally a size 9 so I thought a 9.5 wouldn't be too bad (since that was the only size left at $59.99). I was way wrong, these were clown shoe size on me. I was sad that I had to return them because they are great looking, but I think I could possibly even get away with wearing an 8 in Bass shoes.

High quality boot, very well made. FIrst wears are a bit stiff as with any leather boot, but once they are even slightly broken-in they are great. Runs about a half-size too large, and I could see someone needing to size down a whole size, though a half-size was perfect for me.

Suede protectant and leather cream are a must for this shoe, particularly if exposed to elements such as rain and snow. Overall, a great shoe that'll last a very long time.

This boot is perfect for fall and winter. I recently wore them in the rain and I got soaked but my feet stayed dry and warm . There was absolutely no damage to the boot at all. These boots are perfectly made and are extremely fashion forward. I love that I can wear them with pants and they even look cute with a skirt or dress. I got a size 10 and found it to be true to size. Totally love these boots!

The only problem is that they are two very different blues. I unfortunately noticed this after I wore them so I couldn't return them...Check yours out before you wear them...

I always wear a size 6 and that's what I ordered. I say it runs true to size for width, but about half an inch longer than usual. It's perfect for wearing with thick socks and I don't recommend going down a half size. The leather was stiff (suede not so much) when I first wore them, but after a few hours wear it's softer now. The stitching and overall quality is great. I bought the cocoa/burgundy colour and it's similar to how it is online (the burgundy leather seems richer to me in real life though).

As the other reviewer said, I also recommend buying leather cream and protectant, as well as suede protectant, if you're wearing these through winter. I live in Canada, so it's a must if I want these boots to last for a long time. I love the masculine/feminine mashup - the classic saddle shoe in a boot cut. My boyfriend didn't really like the style (he called them 'man boots'), but once I proved to him they look nice, he stopped complaining and even said they were cute! I love my Bass boots so much, I ordered another pair to keep for the upcoming years. I think it's the perfect lace up boots - the style just keeps getting better and better - and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I adore these boots!! i started out with the marine boots and loved them so much that i ordered the cocoa boots. The colors in the pictured looked exactly like the image of the boot. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 after reading everyones reviews about the size i decided to stick with a 7.5 and they are perfect especially with thin socks. They were not as comfy with thick socks. The quality is top notch and I love the look of the hand stiched material. These boots are classic, comfy and one of a kind. You will not see everyone with these. So enjoy the walk and enjoy the compliments, I get them all the time when I wear them.

I bought them in different color (dark red and blue) last year. They are very comfortable, of good quality, and long-lasting. I would recommend them to all people who love this style.
