Just got my new Basting Brush today and put it right to work. I had some chicken on the grill used my new brush to baste the breasts with our favorite BBQ sauce.

I like the brush because the bristles are not too thin. It's not like a paint brush - this one actually can hold more sauce because of the thick soft rubbery bristles. The brush has just the right amount of give, not too soft or stiff. Plus it cleans up a lot easier. The base and the bristles are one molded piece so I don't expect it to rust round the end like a normal brush does.

I recommend this to anyone who enjoys BBQ and wants a quality basting brush at a good price.

I don't usually write product reviews, but this impressed me. It picks up sauce and oil easily and yet spreads them over whatever I'm basting just as easily. Functionally it works perfectly. It is slightly shorter than a different basting brush I have, but actually I like that I can use this for the BBQ or for more delicate things like brushing oil on bread loaves. I also like how nice it looks. It's solid but not heavy, and very well balanced. The silicone brush ends are thin enough and close enough to emulate a bristle brush, but sturdy and don't fall out the way bristle brushes do. Plus it's a snap to clean. Overall, this is my new favorite kitchen tool.

This is the best Kitchen piece I have purchased from Amazon. This Brush applies both thin and thick sauces to a variety of meats, chicken and fishes. It is great to store as it is the perfect size. It also cleans up easier than other brushes. I would strongly recommend this basting brush to anyone who loves to cook or anyone just starting out.

Nowadays, silicone brushes are the way to go! It makes brushing on sauces so easy and the clean up is a cinch. I use this brush to baste, to brush on butter or egg wash and of course for BBQing. The long stainless steel handle makes it easy to keep your hand from getting burned but is comfortable enough to grip. I love the hanging hook on the end so that I can easily hang it up somewhere for easy access, especially during BBQing. A great buy at a great price.

looks bigger in the pictures but when you use it on a hot bbq you will burn the hair off you arms and knuckles. I've only used it twice so far and that will be the last time when I'm grilling outside, maybe keep it for inside stuff.

I bought this brush for several reasons:

1) I don't like bristle types as they are difficult to clean if the sauce dries and sits for a while. Moreover, with strong cleaning, I don't get loose bristles; these silicon types are much better.

2) This brush is strong and has the feel of high quality. I do believe that I will be able to use this for many years.

3) I was worried about how even the sauce would go on with these silicon bristles, but they worked really well.

Overall, I really like this brush. It is a little short if you are around high heat, so I would recommend a glove, but other than that, it's perfect and I will also buy the other grill set utensils that Strackle sells.

I just recently discovered the beauty of silicon basting brushes and have tossed out my old outdated ones. This brush is so much easier to use, bbq sauce and marinades glide on so smoothly. It's extremely easy to clean -no more holding the old brush under running water to try to get the sauce or butter out of the bristles! I really like how comfortable this brush is to use, it's a great size! It's so nice looking and it matches my other stainless grill and kitchen tools and I like the loop for hanging it. This brush has everything I could want in a basting brush, I'm very happy I bought it!

I cook a lot, love to make some brad for my kids and they love to help me out on basting, this silicone basting brush is lightweight, which makes easy for those tiny hands to help mommy, also very nice stainless design with a loop?? what a great addition to make even more easy to store. My husband tried out for our summer BBQ and completely love it. It's really easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I would definitely recommend this nice product.
