I bought this controller a little while ago and I absolutely loved it. I thought it was the bees knees and I purposely bought it because it was capable of being used on a computer. It has been a lovely controller until well, when it STOPPED WORKING!! I plug it into the PC and the light flashes and goes out. It will not connect to the computer no matter how many times I have restarted the computer or reinstalled the drivers. I tried contacting Microsoft with no luck finding a solution. So I tried contacting the manufacturer, Power A.

Upon doing so, the support tells me that I have violated my warranty because I am trying to use it on a PC. My first thought is "Okay......wait what!?" The controller has the capabilities of being used on a computer, their own website says and I quote: "Compatible with Windows Vista out of the box, prior operating systems require driver download"

To me, they are saying: "I am making up some excuse because we don't want to deal with you."

So here is your lesson: Do not use your PowerA product on a PC or it will void your warranty. If you do - don't tell them so they can't give you a lame excuse as to why they won't help you - but I am sure they will come up with something anyways.

I borrowed this controller from a friend after getting Skyrim PC. I ended up falling in love with the style, shape, and size of this controller. I bought my own and have used it for nearly 30+ hours of gameplay. I'm not necessarily a huge Batman fan, nor even a Xbox 360 platform user, but this controller fits well with my style and what I'm looking for in a controller.

I see a lot of complaints about the size of the controller. I do have smaller, dexterous hands, but I can't see why someone with larger hands couldn't use it as well. The controller does have different ergonomics than original Xbox controllers.

The lights are cool, but normally I keep them off. Due to the brightness of the LEDs it becomes more of a distraction than added aesthetic style. It is wired so no batteries to worry about and the chord is a good 9 feet.

Overall a good buy and if you're a Batman fan this would definitely be for you.

I really love this controller, I got it a couple yeear ago and decided to write a review on it. The lights are awesome I usually use whatever color I am when I play multiplayer when they assign what color you are sometimes, or I just go with blue. It works like It should and I love the D-pad on this compared to the original 360 controller.

I knocked it off a star because on the left joy stick it likes to make the character go move left on the screen and the right joys stick like to look up and to the right. I don't know if that's just me or not but when I play it on pc I just fix the dead zone and it sometimes fixes the problem but other than that I'm happy I got this.

I bought this controller simply because I'm a huge batman nerd, that and I prefer having wired controllers than wireless because i hate replacing the batteries. The controller feels comfortable in my hands, it plays well with my games, and I love playing with it in the dark as I can choose any color I want the controller to glow with. Blue is my preference.
There are some certain problems but they are not deal breakers. Here are a few notes:
1. Don't play fighting games with this controller. Especially ones that require the D-pad. I played super street fighter 2 HD remix on it and too many times my thumb accidently hit the Xbox logo button forcing the game to pause too many times.
2. Speaking of the xbox logo button, it doesn't work when I'm watching my dvds on my xbox. One time I got a PM from someone while watching a movie, so I tried to answer it but pressing the xbox logo button didn't work.

I've only had this controller for a week so I'll update if there's any problems.

I bought this controller because I got tired of charging or replacing batteries. After browsing the overpriced official wired controllers, I found this unique custom controller for much cheaper (It was $27 when I bought it.) The buttons are slightly smaller than those of a normal controller and feel like the extend further out from the controller. There are a few LED colors to choose from to make it easy to find in the dark. The controller also works perfectly with a PC so that was a plus for me.
the controller feels comfortable and fits in the hands perfectly. It makes the default Xbox controllers feel strange and bulky. A sure buy because you are saving money by not having to shove in two batteries every few hours of play.

This is a really good controller. It looks awesome and lights up with different colors to choose from. It sure does beat having to buy batteries all the time. Ever have your batteries go dead in the middle of a heated game only to realize you have already robbed the TV remotes of theirs? With this controller that won't happen. I have used this controller for countless hours now and have never had a problem with it. Good controller for a good price and it goes perfect when you're playing Batman Arkham City or Batman Arkham Asylum. Just remember you can't throw it like a real batarang.

I bought this as my official Xbox 360 wireless controller died on me.

At first I was delighted with it, the lights on it are great and it's nice to hold and while playing Skyrim it's perfectly fine.

Then I tried to use it to play Battlefield 3 online and this is where the problem comes. In the simplest way of putting it the analogue sticks are no where near responsive enough.

Trying to aim with precision and speed at the same time just isn't going to happen. With the official controllers you just have to move the analogue sticks the slightest touch and your cursor will move on screen, however, with this controller it doesn't work like that. You can move the analogue stick quite a bit before your cursor will move.

It's can be very frustrating.

When i purchased this product, i wasnt sure what the quality was going to be like. But as it turns out it is actually a proper microsoft product, obviously released in sync with Batman: Arkham City. So no worries on that part.
The cable is a very decent length, good 2m or more, so you definitely dont have to sit right up next to your console.
Materials, very solid seeming plastic, with slightly rubbery texture on the darker patches making it very nice to hold, if not slightly slimmer than the original controllers.
The LED strips are awesome, with a 7 different colour settings to choose from. also backlit buttons.
all in all, a very good controller that is just infinitely better looking than the original controllers, and you dont have to buy any more batteries.

Waste of my money!!

I bought 3 of this controller for my friend, my fiance and myself. After few weeks, three of them does not sync to the game we played, for example the button was firing on its own and the controller control the game by either moving forward or backward. 2 of the controller have no lights now. Good design but poor on commands!

The cable from the controller is already broken and does not connect to the xbox anymore.

While it was working it was a lovely controller and I loved how it felt. Other then that I am dissapointed that it has ALREADY BROKEN and will be sending the item back for full refund.
