About the Author
Melissa A. Bartell, the Bathtub Mermaid, published her first book at the age of five. It was a limited-edition book of poetry, hand-written by the author herself and mimeographed (yes, she’s that old) by her loving mother. More recently, she has been slinging words as a corporate blogger and freelance copy editor. She served as co-editor-in-chief of the ezine All Things Girl (currently on hiatus), and is currently running her personal blog (MissMeliss.com), her book review blog (Bibliotica.com) and her podcast (BathtubMermaid.com). She is also a voice actor and improvisational comedian, and collects hats and rescue dogs. Melissa likes red wine, dark chocolate, and frou-frou coffee. She lives near Dallas, TX with her husband and their pack of four mutts, plus a foster-dog.
