The pacing was good. It was so good I wish it was a little longer but it told its story amazingly. This a a Great introduction for the Joker.

I haven't read too much comic, most of what I know about Batman come from Nolan's trilogy. That said, this one shot is quite self contained and i enjoyed it a lot. I love how the Joker is introduce in this story, though from what I've seen people think it goes against the canon.

One of the best one shots I've ever read. New to Batman in comic form, and stumbled into this per a recommended reading order. The balance of Gordon developing his relationship with the Bat and The Joker rising to prominence is fantastic. This is a must read for any fan of the Dark Knight.

Love the old school format. Followed the bat cannon, which I like. Joker a true psychopath, not disappointed at all.

I am disappointed at Ed for creating a version of the Joker that is just bad but not to crazy.

Although I've only very recently started reading batman comics ( following a recommended reading order ) I have to say, this is fantastic. The artwork is amazing and the story is very gnarly and dark. The Joker is pure maniacal evil here.
In my personal view, Year One took me two reads to get the flow, but this was just an absolute page turner, and the whole thing had a theme that I'm very used to seeing from Batman ( Movies and Games ) So, all in all. Loved it. The price was pleasant aswell, only a few pounds. The others in my recommended list are mostly over £10, albeit longer. So, my new found interest in comics is going to cost me.

All in all, thoroughly enjoyed this. I'll be reading again soon.
