I'm a really big Batman fan and I just want to let you know that this is a really good game in my opinion I love it! This game came out around 3 months ago but theres people that may not know that they release an episode every month. So far they've released 3 and there's 5 in total. Some people complain about getting an epsiode every month and yeah that kinda sucks but it doesn't take away that it's an amazing game! This game has a really good story and on the gameplay you make up the choices for Bruce Wayne/Batman and the story goes along based on the decisions you make so you have to be careful. this is not a fighting game, it's more of a choice making game and see how your choices affect the story in the game so don't expect any open world game like Arkham knight. That's why there's people who are "disappointed" because there's not that much action and the graphics. But this is a telltale game it's suppose to look like a comic. Don't let people fool you that this is a bad game. They just go with the mindset of believing it's like the Arkham Asylum. But yeah I really recommend this game if you're into Batman and good story. I want telltale to make a season 2 for this that's how good the game is even though though the 1st season isn't over. So please people don't complain about it not being like Arkham knight/Asylum this is a telltale game. I really recommend it, bought this game digital and case to support it and increase the chance of making a season 2.

I'm not surprised the other reviewers are complaining about this game like seriously are they that dumb to think this was a shooter game? Or how about the guy that can't even spell "waste". Painfully people in the world don't read what they're buying before they're buying it they just complain afterwards. Now to the people complaining about getting only one episode and having to wait for more to come out to download I can see you guys are telltale noobs but it's always been this way. One episode at launch and more to come over months it's a great concept and actually gives you something to look forward to. Do not listen to these whining reviews of grown adults acting like kids this game is flawless just like game of thrones telltale and the walking dead. There's nothing wrong with the game it's really fun can't wait for more episodes to complete the game. I would say I'm dissapointed at all the negative reviews but in this day and age I'm not surprised so many people are unintelligent. That's right I called those reviewes phony for people that don't know what they're playing. Why even buy something you don't know how to play and complain it's not a first person shooter like really? These reviews are pitiful. So many people have no clue what they're doing it's amazing that they have the nerve to actually hit send on this review.

This is a typical Telltale game where the player is presented with choices, which affect how you interact with characters and how the story ends. Batman fans should definitely check his out!

The graphics/presentation is gorgeous; however, the game has its share of flaws. There are tedious moments where you connect a series of clues to understand what happened in a scene, which slows down the pace. Animation at times is glitchy, which is typical of Telltale games, and seems more apparent in this installment. I would rank Batman on the low end of the quality spectrum, compared to better Telltale games like THE WOLF AMONG US, TALES FROM THE BORDERLANDS and THE WALKING DEAD (Season 2).

Overall, it's a good game, but not great. I wouldn't rush out and buy this. Wait for the price to drop or when it goes on sale.

Not your typical Batman story, is has elements of Year One within it but focuses more on the Waynes than it does Batman. Now only episode two is released and there are three more episodes to go so a full review would be unfair.

AWESOME addictive game! I wish the episodes were longer and i didnt have to wait! Was skeptical at first because its not a true action RPG game. Neat way to play. Its like playing and directing your own comic book! Super cool!

One thing you should know is this is not a typical video game. Its very story oriented, like all telltale games are. If you are new to telltale games, watch a video to see the play style. There is action but its a lot of just pressing a single button in time. A majority is conversation with different people affecting how the game plays out. Theres a lot of dumb actions too. For example, it'll ask you to press x to open your phone or something and it won't do anything until you do, so it seems kind of unnecessary. The story of the first two episodes were pretty good and it was pretty balanced with action and interaction with people. The game is 5 episodes but an episode comes out once a month or so. the second came out about 2 weeks ago.

For those of you who are Batman fans - and I'm talking about comic fans, the people who enjoy Hush and Knightfall and End Game (Scott Snyder's entire run, for that matter), this is the video game you've been waiting for. I've played all the TellTale games, so I was expecting a decent production, but this game has vastly exceeded my wildest expectations. This is TellTale's best effort yet, even better than The Wolf Among Us or Tales From The Borderlands.

The most important aspect of any Batman experience is the story, and in they really nailed it. I would place this story on par with any of the great story arcs in Batman print. Many thanks to DC for giving TellTale so much creative freedom and permitting them to approach this game as an "Else World"... it essentially reinvents Batman and a host of other major characters, portraying them at a time of their origin, but during contemporary times. In other words, it's 2016 and Batman's been on the job less than a year, Two Face is still a respected politician, Selena Kyle just met Bruce Wayne, and nobody has ever heard of the Penguin or the Joker. In this game, that format works AWESOME, because you get to decide just how hard boiled you want Batman to be.

I was riveted from episode 1 through 5, and couldn't wait to find out what happened next. I want to emphasize this point, because being such a big fan of Batman, I have VERY high expectations for storylines and I don't hesitate to criticize them when they fall short. I also have to commend TellTale for being so prompt this time around, and releasing a new episode every month (just like a comic series!), instead of the sporadic, unpredictable messes we've seen in the past.

As far as the gameplay goes, it's a huge step up from the previous TellTale games.
