  • The first print issue should arrive in 12-16 weeks. Details

International Addresses: Magazine subscriptions offered at Amazon.com can only be shipped within the 50 United States, APO/FPO address and U.S. Protectorates. We are unable to process magazines to other destinations at this time. Please contact the magazine's publisher for further assistance.

When to Expect Your First Issue: Magazine subscriptions ordered at Amazon.com are shipped to you by the magazine's publisher. The first issue of a weekly magazine should arrive within 4-6 weeks of your order. The first issue of a monthly magazine should arrive within 6-10 weeks, unless otherwise noted.

Once you've placed an order at Amazon.com, it can take one to two weeks for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. Your subscription is then added to the publisher's next production cycle and shipped via standard mail. For example, if your monthly subscription was ordered and received by the publisher in November, and the December issue has already shipped, your order may be added to the January mailing. You can find out more information, including how to contact the publisher about your subscription, in Amazon's Magazine Subscription Manager.

Renewing Your Subscription: If you are ordering as a renewal to the same name and address as the current subscription, the publisher will add the Amazon order to your current subscription. For example, if you have 5 issues left and you add 12 through Amazon, you will now have 17 issues left on your subscription. Please note that the expiration date in the Magazine Subscription Manager will not reflect if you were already on file with the publisher. We will work with the publisher to ensure that you still receive all of the issues left on your subscription.

Publication Frequency: Magazines which show "irregular" availability are those which are not published according to a regular schedule. If you place an order for such a magazine, you will receive new issues as soon as they are available.

  • Control your subscription settings anytime using Amazon's Magazine Subscription Manager.
  • If you purchase the auto-renewal offer, your subscription will renew for the same term length at the renewal rate available on Amazon. Cancel anytime.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheers!! June 12, 2002
By S. Sear
Subscription Term Name:1 year
An excellent 'every-man' (or woman) mag about the fine art of homebrewing. I've been a homebrewer for over 20 years and have seen a lot of stuff come and go, yet I still get good ideas out of each issue (and not just recipes, although the Szamatulski's contributions are usually good). Typically, in the area of gadgets.
So you wanna learn to brew? Get one of Papazian's books, and a subscription to this magazine, and your off to a good start (Papazian's magazine 'Zymurgy' is good, too -- but can be a little overly 'techie' for my tastes)
I don't know what would make me give this a 5-star, it just seems like there's room for improvement. Although I can't put my finger on exactly what.
Cheers, y'all. Relax, don't worry -- have a homebrew.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still the best information for homebrewers January 1, 2007
Subscription Term Name:1 year
I see some of these reviews dated 2004 and 2003 and I want to reassure everyone that this is still the best source of information for home brewers available in a magazine. I wish that they would go to a full 12 months schedule instead of the every other month in winter schedule they have now. With style guidelines and features as well as how-to articles and the section "Ask Mr. Wizard" is a great help. The readership is large enough that if some mis-information is printed about a product or style in one issue, some industry expert is going to clarify the issue next month.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Home Brewer Mag. March 11, 2004
By A Customer
Subscription Term Name:1 year
I love it and read it cover to cover every month. I am a avid home brewer and Liek the information they provide. It caters to the little guy doing extract batches on the stove top to people like me who do all grain in converted Keg systems.
I would not wait any longer sign up now.

The guys that manage the subscriptions to this magazine are a pain in the ass though. They're constantly sending renewal offers making you think that there is some kind of problem (i.e., "don't they know that I just renewed last month and that they still owe me a year??"). The magazine itself is not monthly and does suffer from being slightly light in content.

I love homebrewing, but I don't like reading ads in magazines. This one has the perfect mix of new/unknown products and some of the bigger companies with some really great articles. Definitely worth grabbing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the homebrewer!! July 17, 2014
Subscription Term Name:1 year|Verified Purchase
One of the best ways to hone your brewing chops. Many articles from the major players in the game. There are always a few recipes in each magazine that leave you salivating.

Bottom line: there hasn't been one issue where I haven't learned something that makes my brewing day better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Recipes, equipment projects, and other fun stuff December 17, 2013
Subscription Term Name:1 year|Verified Purchase
As a homebrewer, I enjoy this magazine. A given issue typically includes a handful of recipes, as well as highlights on specific styles, techniques, craft breweries, along with equipment projects. I am presently looking into adding on a digital subscription, so I can read on my computers and mobile devices, so I don't have to carry different issues around with me.
