Can be mounted vertical on a wall or placed horizontal in a drawer
Includes Battery Tester
Holds AA, AAA, 9 Volt, C, D and Flat Battries
When mounted on a wall flat batteries can fall wall multiple flat batteries can fall out when trying to get one
Some of the slots are so tight it can be difficult to remove the batteries
Overall we are very pleased with the purchase and only deducted one star for the two issues listed above.
Well, I got it and where the lid attaches to the base at 2 "hinges" it was already broken on the left one. Great. The lid is actually fairly heavy, not just a light piece of plastic but a thick one. If you lift the lid up, it will fall backwards and snap off the hinges, forcing you to reattach it and since its fairly heavy it snaps back pretty hard. I'm not sure if it was just because my hinge was broken that the lid would fall off any time I opened it, but it seems like this would happen to anyone with the design of the hinges.
So I just ditched the lid. I have mine sitting flat in a closet anyway. With the way the lid doesn't latch, it just sits on top of the batteries when closed, I don't think mounting it vertically is an option and no mounting hardware is included.
The other negative for me is that the batteries (some of the slots) are very tight on the batteries. Might not seem like a big deal, but when you go to grab a battery, you will need to hold down the rest of the organizer so you can pull one battery out without the whole unit coming with you.
With those negatives out of the way, and the lid thrown into the trash, the rest of the organizer is decent. The tester works great with all batteries I've tried. The organizer itself holds plenty of batteries and helped me organize my "battery drawer" in the house, but ultimately if I had to order again, I would purchase a different one.
I wonder if this was put on sale because the blow mold was defective and they wanted to unload a "bad" batch. Really, that's the only explanation I can think of for shipping out something this defective. As it is, it's worse than useless and it's going back.
The tester works fine, and helped me spot old batteries I needed to toss in the random battery drawer I have. It's okay for the price I paid since it was on sale, but at full price I'd have picked something better. It is a huge improvement over dealing with half filled blister packs that end up spilling the batteries to roll around in my desk drawer.

Analogue battery tester is a joke! It's showing just voltage, not voltage under load.
Plastic cover is crap. Amazon's choice, huh? Thanks Amazon, take it back.
It seems possible to hang it vertically on a wall if you use your own screws/hooks, there's none provided. If you don't have an use for D size batteries you can use the slots for extra 9V or C batteries. Anything smaller would fall right through since there's holes
The only issue is that 9v batteries with slightly recessed connectors can't reach the metal on the tester
The price is a bit high...
Material very fragile and will break easily.
Crackling sound when i lift the lid, as if it is about to break.
Looks end feels very cheap.
I don't think i will be storing my batteries in this. Definitely not worth the price
I will do without it! Works great, useful! I'm not looking for my batteries anymore and I'm not sure what works and what does not work anymore
Keeping these all standing vertical so they dont cross one another and causing them to melt from battery acid leaking.
Almost every time you test a battery with the battery tester, from a "dead" remote or toy, almost always it's only 1 dead and the others are fine! Great save!
