|The Battery Tender 12-volt/2-amp 10-Bank Battery Management System is designed for commercial use in keeping up to 10 12-volt batteries simultaneously charged and maintained, each at its proper storage voltage without the damaging effects caused by some trickle chargers. Compatible with all AGM (absorbed glass mat), sealed maintenance free and flooded batteries commonly found in everything from some automotive/farm equipment to motorcycles, ATV’s, and personal watercraft, this lightweight, microprocessor controlled unit provides safe, constant, 4-step charging current for every vehicle stored in your shop. |
The first fully automatic, constant-current battery charger designed to charge and/or maintain up to 10 12-volt batteries simultaneously at 2 amps, the Battery Tender 12-volt/2-amp 10-Bank Battery Management System utilizes a 4-step charging program (initialization, bulk charge, absorption mode and float mode), that allows users to connect the charger to up to 10 batteries, either in or out of a vehicle, with the confidence that all are being maintained at optimal performance levels. This makes it extremely useful for battery rotation, where a battery is removed from service during repair or in preparing batteries for sale. It is also safe for your batteries, with the built-in ability to automatically switch its output voltage to a storage or float level that eliminates the need to worry about the damaging effects of overcharging, and the resulting need to check on the condition of a charging battery. If or when the battery voltage drops too far under load, this same smart technology resumes output power and the charging cycle begins again. The unit also features sparkproof connectors, reverse polarity protection, a 72-hour safety timer that ensures batteries attain float mode status during charging, an easy to understand charging status LED indicator for each charging bank, durable construction and almost no current draw from batteries connected to it.

Does everything I would have expected. I collect motorcycles and never remove the batteries. I'm too lazy to move a charger from bike to bike. I've plugged in most of the bikes plus a car that I seldom use in the winter and leave them on. No worries.
Only negative I've found is the leads from the charger to the battery are only 6 feet long. If you require more, you need to purchase a 25 foot extension. 31 feet is much more than I need. Wish I could purchase leads of 10 to 15 feet long.
We use these to charge batteries for clay target throwers.
Since we started using them, we do not have the low battry issues we used to have in the middle of a shoot.
The charger even rejuvinated some batteries that were questionable.
I highly recommend it!!!!!!!
I now have a charging station in my garage for 12 volt, 6 volt and 40 volt batteries. very convenient for me. This 12 volt charger is the center piece. The other chargers surround it.
But like the other reviews have mentioned a few of the 10 banks WILL go dead and stop working after a while for me it was 8 months. Having to send it back you'll pay a bench fee. For something that's half a grand and seems to be a common problem you'd think it would get waved hopefully when I send it back they can update it or something to prevent this from happening again.
