This book is good, however the author works in hair design and it seems all of their example relate to hair styling, products, etc. I'm not saying you can't find valuable examples in those situations, but I wish the author had a bit more diversity to write about. Good main points - I read it in the hot tub for 5-10 mins a day and I leave feeling nicer :) Or maybe it was the hot tub.
I love how realistic Winn is, being nice doesn't just happen over night of does take work. But he hold you accountable for your actions. Be also challenges you to make a difference in your life and give you examples of how to start your mix journey.
I'm taking care of my very elderly mom and she is very difficult to deal with as I'm sure others out there would agree. This book has helped me possibly more than any other that I've read to deal with such a difficult situation!!!
This book is a good read, I worked through it slowly and in pieces, but I have really enjoyed it and I'm trying to implement it in pieces. Though it is the hardest to stop complaining and maintain a positive attitude. :-)
I have heard Winn speak in person, which prompted me to purchase his book for my employees. If you are a stylist, or own a salon, get this book! If you're not a stylist and just want a peaceful existence, get this book!
