good fit for senior with swollen feet and ankles

bought these for my 89 year old Mother in law who has very swollen feet and ankles. We bought the wide width and while they appear tight to the eye she says they are very comfortable and stay on to her feet. The elastic band gives her lots of stretch. She is very pleased with the shoes. She had a similar pair which we were trying to duplicate. the only difference she noticed is that the shoe was a little higher in the back above the heel than her previous shoe. She got used to it very quickly.

For years I bought the "I Luv Comfort" sandals from Sears that were very similar to these but then they changed the soles and they weren't as comfortable so I've been looking for a substitute and these sandals were perfect! So very happy with these and will be ordering more as well as recommending them to my friends!

This sandal needs to be broken in a bit. I normally wear a 7 1/2, (sometimes smaller) but it was a bit tight when I first wore them. After wearing them for a while they were broken in and fit fine now.

Even though I bought these last year, I don't wear them all the time so this happened after probably being worn maybe 20 times. I had bought a pair like these years ago and Loved them but I knew right away that this pair was not the same, counterfeit maybe????

I have very bad feet. This is a style of shoe I can wear anytime, and anywhere and they don't hurt my feet. I have wore this style nfor years. The only thing I wish they had would be more colors.
