    Stress fractures on plastic loom
    I purchased this loom and have only used it twice. On my second threading of my fireline, I realized that the damn loom is showing stress right in the center where it needs to bend in order to get the metal stretcher out. I can't get a good photo of it, but there's a small crack now which has gotten worse.I want to warn others to be careful with your loom. Successful looms, at least the most successful of them are wooden and maybe that's what I need to consider in future.UPDATE: It's now been a little more than a month or 60 days since purchasing this Jewel Loom kit. I have checked in various other areas on the internet and spoken with others who have or are using this loom. More than half of the 25 other leaders that spoke with me said the same thing, which is that they had cracking and/or snapping of the Jewel Loom within the 1st month of using this loom. Most told me that this snapping has occurred in the center where you have to bend it long enough to both put in the metal rod and then again to remove it. A few Crafters mentioned that they purchased additional looms afterwards and saw the EXACT same weaknesses in the center.I do love this loom because it's light and because of the Rheumatoid Arthritis is affecting my hands and arms; having a loom that is lighter and easy to manipulate. But the trouble I see is that no one seems to care that this loom has a structural problem. Or maybe Beadalon just doesn't care. I'm on SSDI and my money is precious and even though this wasn't as expensive as others, it's still money that I won't get back. I'm afraid that it will break if I try to use it again.

    With Trued this loom, if you are planning o using a pattern for more than 10 lines forget this one ,after threading it the thread starts shifting and won’t stay in place! I have tried several looms and none are perfect. At least this one can’t break in half like the last two and my the other couldn’t get the “tee” tight enough to keep in the loom. Still looking for a substantial beading loom!
