the bear legion is a great bow for the price. it has a very smooth draw and is very quiet. my brother has a mathews helium and my legion is actually just as queit as it. the legion is also a very quick bow.shooting about a 410 grain arrow at 56 pounds it hit 248 fps. had a little trouble changing draw length it was kinda confusing i would suggest taling it to a bow shop to change the draw length.

Got the bow just the other day. Replaced my old Bear Charge. The Legion is much smoother, despite the fact it is faster. The draw cycle eases up to the 70 lbs and crosses a slight hump before easing into a very comfortable valley. It will not yank your shoulder out of socket if you need to let the draw back off. With 80% let-off, it feels like you could hold the draw all day. Upon release, it sends my 420 grain arrow sizzling downrange with very little vibration or noise at all. It holds naturally on target with ease. I had it sighted in within 20 minutes and was shooting bulls from 30 yards right off. I'm 6'4" and appreciate having the available 31" of draw length. Makes a real difference in being able to hold steady when the draw length is right. I've shot around 50 arrows through it so far and love the feel and the performance. Got nothing bad I can say about it. The included accessories are not bad either. I did swap out the whisker biscuit for my NAP Apache drop-away rest and the rubber tube peep for my G5 hunter peep. Everything else stays the same.

This Bow is great for the price! Smooth draw and very quiet! Neck and neck with my Hoyt on sound. Great bow for beginners or veterans. Everything that comes with the bow is actually pretty good. Although i did put the new trophy ridge react sight on mine. Amazing sight by the way!!! Lol

I love the bow, it shoots quiet and fast. My problem is with the accessories that come with it and the adjustment function. First of all, almost every adjustment requires a different sized allen key. My allen set was missing a couple of pieces so I was unable to tune the bow until I went out to the hardware store and bought a whole new set. For some reason they give you the key to change the draw weight, but none of the other ones needed to adjust the draw length, or sights. The sights that it came with are OK, but they need several other sized keys ( none of which are included) . The nut to adjust the windage is in an impossible spot and I stripped it after a few times trying to make the adjustments.

Over all this is a very smooth shooting bow, and the fact that you dont need a bow press to adjust the draw length is great...but a little forethought on the part of the company would have gone a long way to making my experience less aggravating. Make every nut the same size, or just a couple of sizes, then provide the keys with the bow. I gave 4 stars for the high quality of the bow and affordability.
