but we don't have time or skill to ever make that come to pass. But this guy did, and in two of my favorite books ever, Red Army, and Red Storm Rising. You can visualize the scenes so perfectly while reading, but this gives the gamer the chance to make it real! Thanks for the imagination and hard work.
Other than that - and there are a few small scebarios too - I will find it a useful resource.
This item is of value if you are a war-gamer of "cold war turned hot" scenarios, and you have read popular fiction such as "Team Yankee," "Red Army," and "The Third World War." It shows what some of the battles from these books might look like on your game table. A capsule briefing is provided, along with detailed orders of battle (down to individual vehicles) and hand drawn (and apparently crayon colored) sketch maps of the terrain. Soviet units are shown at nominal, establishment strength, which would never have been actually likely, I don't believe.
Production values are not the highest. It was of interest to me, though perhaps not worth the price.
