Teddy Bears Can Be Complex

I was very excited to learn about this series because I am a life long fan of teddy bears. I think that the book was a fun book focused upon the idea of owning a teddy bear store and operating a factory which creates teddy bears by hand. The characters are multi layered and I think Sasha and Maddie are very complimentary sisters. I read the book through twice because there are quite a few characters and several underlying plot lines. I enjoyed the book because the flow respected a reader who thinks. Looking forward to the next book.

Bearly Departed is the first book in a new series. Sasha Silverman, the main character, is very likable, as are the supporting cast, and I can't wait for the next in this series! I'm excited to learn more about the town of Silver Hollow, what happens next at the Silver Bear shop and factory, and what's in store for Sasha, Maddie, and Uncle Ross! Will Flynn stick his nose in where he's not wanted? Will sparks fly between Uncle Ross and Aunt Eve?

Love this first book in the series that I hope goes for many, many more! The story flowed nicely and while I had my suspicions on who the murder was, I wasn't positive until the last few pages. The descriptions of the bears made me picture them in my mind, and the "looked" so cute!!! And, Rosie the dog is such a good addition....
