All the his friends are here and get involved in a fight that could of ended in death. Nate had to let got a part of himself so another part comes back into being.
All starts someone came looking for help to save a child from being part of a really insane thing called the Beast Master. So the guy thought that doing a binding spell would be all it takes to get Nate to save the child and then the binding be undone.
From there it got stranger, crazy mixed up set of events that even has Nate talking with a Hindi god! And getting help along the way, in words with double meanings.
Friends do what it takes to try to help Nate before he goes insane. Or they think he might.
I totally love Nate Temple and his band of misfits. Even now has a Daywalker as a friend!
To understand you have to start from the beginning. You can't just jump into these stories without having a background of the main characters, good and bad and those in between.
Nate Temple feels he has the answers never looking to the end game just thinking about what to do right now. Causing someone he loved to walk away for good it seems.
This one need end in a bit of a cliffhanger
Seeing things through the looking glass.. 😉 so enjoyed Beast Master! Be ready for the party!
New favorite characters. I can't remember the last time I stayed up all night because I literally had to finish a book. Pretty sure it was the last Nate Temple book release. Do yourself a favor and get this book! What are you waiting for?
Plot twists, epic fights, a wizard that binds his power, healing houses with chicken legs, a trip to the Vault (what does Nate really look like?) Nerf gun battles in Chateau Falco, Death (Yes, That Death) making a "friendsgiving" turkey dinner, The Fae Queens and Elders along with the return of Van Helsing, and the usual crew of suspects. This series just keeps on giving!
So read this installment. Get hooked on the snark, the adventure and the action. Then go buy the rest of the series, and enjoy. You won't be sorry you did. Seriously, Shayne Silvers just keeps getting better and better at story teller & writing with every installment of this epic story!
Is there a way to give a book more than five stars? Because this one deserves it.

unequivocally that this is another story full of excitement and anticipation. This time, Nate has to save a little girl, and his friends could
be targets for his latest foe. He has three days to do what has to be done. Along the way we met some new friends and a God or two.
In this Nate Temple story we see a deepening of Nate's character, a growth in his understanding, and a spiraling into darkness and possibly
madness.Dealing with the guilt he feels for his friends and loved ones being involved in his world, and his own dark desires.
Shayne does his usual outstanding job of painting word pictures without too much descriptive text,
drawing the reader into Nate's world and life, laced with ample amounts of snark, humour and action.
A real page turner, I couldn't put this down.
If you are a fan of Jim Butcher with Harry Dresden or Erik R Asher with The Vesik books, then you have to read these and I hope you'll love them as much as I do.
Nate has always had a lot going on but this was so enthralling with one thing after another so that you just had to read 1, or 2 or 3, more chapters. Even then you were disappointed if you had to put it down because life got in the way of finding out what happened next and his snarky responses?!
Given the speed with which Shayne turns these books around I have to acknowledge it's not perfect (what is?) but the odd hiccup in no way detracts from overall quality of the work.
I can't wait for the next book. Keep it up Shayne!
