This amazing story continues in true D.S. Wright fashion, with psychological upsets and revelations that restart Meg's grief work. Meg, Daniel and Austin are still seeking out the board members and trying to kill them for their role in the Beast Project. Jay is never far from Meg's mind even as her feelings grow for Daniel; Daniel the one who has been protecting her as his Alpha and keeping her secure and happy. Things aren't completely as they seem though.
"...not knowing how long I would be pregnant and how my offspring would end up being once it was born. My life sounded like a low budget horror movie."
"I wish Dan was here, sitting in that chair, watching over me. I wish I could cuddle up to him, let his scent cloud my senses and help me forget about tomorrow."
"Yeah, you can't disappoint people that don't give a rat's a** about you."
I absolutely hate posting spoilers, so get this book for yourself and see what happens next for Meg, Jay and Daniel.
This book was gifted by the author for an honest review.
The only disappointment is that the story isn't over. They've teased us with the titles of the next books, but I couldn't find them to pre-order. Hurry, please!

Meg is dealing with her loss and trying to deal with her new reality. As always the story flows together nicely and is paced just right. A little bit predictable, to a point, but not in the way you would expect. It's wonderful to see her progress. Dan/4 is not what you expect. I find myself liking him ALOT!!!! I don't normally stay with books that go past 3, I feel the story becomes old. That is definitely not the case with this. I can't wait for more !!!
Once Daniel has recovered (and what a sweetheart Dan turned out to be, he may even have repaired the broken heart Jay left behind) it's finally time to set the plan in motion but things do not run smoothly & surprise discoveries are made that are going to change the everything Meg thought she had to do.
Love this series by DS Wrights but it certainly isn't for the faint hearted.

She is hiding, trying to regroup as she is tending to Daniel's recovery. While she works with Daniel she also resents the fact that he is alive and that she is attracted to him.
There are surprises throughout this book. This installment is another page turner. I anxiously await the next book in this series. Another great read.
