Katee Robert has done it again.
These Wicked Villain stories are so much fun, but I think I’ve enjoyed The Beast most of all. Ms. Robert does an amazing job of uniting these three characters. Not only does she establish their apparent apprehension of being united, but she gives the reader a firm understanding of how they got there. I love how she weaved in the backstory and set the growth in motion for these three.
This book is steamy. I mean smoldering. Not for those who simper at the sight of sex on the page. But if you’ve gotten through the first three books in the series, I imagine you’re fine with this level of heat. MMF is a tricky dynamic to write well, but The Beast is on point.
The Beast was no different. Oh my Gods it was good. It's probably my second favorite in the series. The Beast was giving me everything I needed. I literally just finished reading it so totally expect me to fumble over myself in this review because WOW totally speechless.
This triad. Ahhhh this triad. Isabelle damn that girl is everything, like I might be a little in love with her myself. But also she's kinda a mess after everything went down with Beast and Gaston she just hasn't been in the best place. And then her father dies and he has to talk them into coming back into the family to protect their part of the city.
We've watched Gaeton and Beast in past books and those dudes just exude sexual tension. Ah and those guys together. Someone get me a damn fan! Cause HAWT.
Watching everything come into place was perfection. And I cannot wait for the next few books. Like I never want to leave this world.
