It made my protein shake perfectly. Definitely can tell the build quality is great. Quite heavy. The only downside is the “top” with the hole for the straw is cross threaded and won’t go on straight. I’ve had several people try to attach it as well to make sure it wasn’t just me messing it up. Hopefully I can contact the actual company and receive a different cap. Don’t want to go through the whole return process to just change the cap, as there is quite the unboxing process with several different attachments.

I was pretty skeptical about this thing; I actually let it sit in its box for a few months, on the excuse I didn't want to bother with the counter space, or moving stuff around. *Mistake.* I've had smoothie blenders before - and they were uniformly loud , unpleasant and ineffective.
This is *great*. I like making things with *lots of ice* and that tends to go poorly with the other blenders I've used. This just doesn't flinch, chews right through it. On top of that, it's a *lot* quieter than the other ones I've used. Exellent.

Heavy duty construction all the way around! Very impressive and we love how quick and easy it is to blend up our morning smoothies. Easy to clean and takes up very little space on the counter top.

Lets start with, I didn't really need a new blender. I picked up an bullet blender in the middle of last year and while it didn't do anything really well, it did it well enough for me to not think about getting a new blender. Then I saw Marshawn holding a blender and I though - that thing is probably powerful enough to make Skittles into a smoothie - - I have to have it!

Kidding aside, I was intrigued by reviews I saw of a similar blender with a smaller motor from the same company that suggested the design delivered smooth smoothies (my current blender leaves things to be chewed).

IN the week I have been using it, it definitely does deliver smooth smoothies. the shape of the mixing container seems to create extra turbulence, and the 1 minute blend cycle moves between a high speed and a low speed that allows chunks to settle into the blades before getting pulverized. IT works very, very well. I am no longer chewing the random frozen berry or chunk of kale. IT's just a smooth, er, smoothie.

The blender comes with 1 main compartment that holds 1000 ml. a bevy of lids and a couple of straws. The unit is well designed with a high level of fit and finish. This FEELs like a nice blender. There is a power button on the back and a single button on the front. You can pulse the blender or you can run the 1 minute smoothie cycle. There are no other options. So, sort of like a bullet blender. It is also sort of quiet. But, it's a blender, so.

I have added ice cubes and baby carrots to my smoothie to see how smooth it is with chunkier items and it handled both like a champ. the baby carrots should probably get cut in half though.

Overall, I am super happy with this. I can blend in Beast Mode. Only thing I have concerns about is the price. Price as of this review is $185. It does make the smoothest smoothie I have ever made at home (and I had a blendtec) and it is easy to use and clean. So it is probably worth it, but there are other options that won't work quite as well for less than a third the price. You just have to decide if you want to occasionally chew your smoothie.
