About the Author

Steve grew up in Baton Rouge in the '60s listening to rock and roll on New Orleans' two powerful AM radio stations, WNOE and WTIX. They played the oldies he came to associate with the Crescent City, songs recorded in New Orleans by New Orleans artists, such as Ernie Kado's, "Mother in Law," Frogman Henry's "Ain't Got No Home," and Fats Domino's "Blue Monday."


He is a graduate of LSU Law School and is a practicing real estate attorney in Baton Rouge where he lives with his wife, dog, cat, Cavern Club brick, and a piece of Abbey Road. ."


Steve will be a featured author at the 2019 Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge on November 2nd.
