Finally: A touch and feel book that's great to read!!! The words in this book are so lyrical and flowing you'll get it stuck in your head. It is the most beautifully-worded touch-and-feel book I've ever seen. All three of my kids loved this book. I got it as a baby shower gift for my first daughter, and it is now, with kid #3, starting to fall apart because it's been used so much. They all especially like the last page, which has a mirror. The mirror is pretty lousy as a mirror (in my opinion), but it's shiny and reflective and has just enough of a mirror image to make them really love it. And even though the touch spots aren't always as big as I'd like, they don't seem to mind, and, like I said, it's worth it to have good text, for once!
My daughter absolutely loves this book. As another reviewer said, this is both an excellent touch and feel book and well written. It flows very nicely and not at all a chore to read.
My 11 month old LOVES this book! It's our go to, again and again. She loves to touch the each of the animals fur, feathers, beaks, and noses. If I need a distraction, I'll grab this book and give it to her, it keeps her entertained for at least 10 minutes on her own.
Lots of fun textures to touch make this one a favorite for my son. It's a quick read that doesn't require a long attention span, but also helps to learn baby animal names.
